Amazing location, very close to the square and many good shops and restaurants. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. Room was very clean and bed was large and comfortable.

When check in, they told me my booking is not included breakfast. I booked 3 hotels in this Italy trip, I won’t book it without breakfast, but the answer I got was because I book through Expedia not their website, they don’t know why. Okay I misunderstood the breakfast. No problem. So they gave me only one key and said, we upgraded your room. Before my smile goes away, I was shocked when I saw my room, that is a room door on the stairs corner, this T shape room built between two levels, my son is a 6ft tall boy, he can barely straight his body. I paid almost $400 a day for that room! Unbelievable! I love Venice, but I will NEVER ever go back to that hotel again!

Magnificent Hotel!

Marvelous! Lovely people in every service position. Great place to be! Super location to everything! Our window looked out on the canal and heard signing from them sometimes. Breakfast and dinner were lovely. Gorgeous rooms.

Great location. Even though we told them it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary there was a hard sell on our arrival to try and make us upgrade to a better more expensive room when they clearly had lots of empty rooms, it was disappointing and unnecessary. It spoilt it for us.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location in January was quiet, safe, and we enjoyed being delivered by water taxi right to the hotels dock on the canal. Fun experience! The hotel staff arranged our transport for us to and from the airport and the cruise dock. Expensive but as my husband is disabled, worth it for the ease. The breakfast was nice and we had dinner in their small restaurant a few nights. It was nice we didn’t need to go out of the hotel after very long days. We would stay there again.

Great location, centrally located to walk to many highlights of Venice. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, the staff was very friendly and helpful. When back in Venice, this will be my go to hotel. Our room was absolutely beautiful, overlooked (1 floor off the canal) the canal and extremely quiet. Minutes walk to many restaurants, Rialto Bridge or St. Marks Square. Highly recommend for your stay in Venice. Thank you!

A Perfect Venetian Getaway The hotel is a perfect blend of Venetian charm and modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. The location is perfect, just steps away from St. Mark’s Square and with easy access to all the iconic sights of Venice. Our room was beautifully decorated in traditional Venetian style, with elegant furnishings and a stunning view of the canal. Breakfast was a great start to each day, offering a variety of fresh and delicious options. The concierge provided good recommendations for local restaurants. Hotel Colombina exceeded our expectations and made our visit to Venice truly special. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an enchanting Venetian experience!

A Venetian Step Back in time

This is a wonderful Venetian experience and we recommend it as an excellent place to visit as a family. Friendly hotel staff who are extremely helpful. Tucked away in a quiet corner - you can enjoy the proximity to a canal right outside one of the doors. Delicious buffet breakfast. Highly recommend Hotel Colonbina.

This hotel is centrally located, walking distance to the bridge of sighs, St. Mark’s Square, shops, The Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Cathedral, restaurants, canals, and the vaporetto. Since the hotel is next to the canal, you can take the water taxi from the airport and get off right at the hotel lobby. If you prefer to be on a budget, you can still of course take the vaporetto (Alilaguna) from the airport and get off at San Marco station and walk to the hotel for a couple of minutes. So accessible! The hotel staff are friendly, accommodating, mindful, and helpful. The breakfast was more than sufficient. Food quality is very good, the fruits are fresh, the bread selection was great. The room was big, we got a patio with a city view, it had a balcony, sufficient closet space, the bathroom was surprisingly large enough for Europe (American hotel bathrooms tend to be bigger). No issues whatsoever with the amenities. The staff cleaned the room regularly, the sheets were fresh, the pillows appear clean and disinfected. We would stay at this property again! We had a wonderful and memorable time.
