Hotel Splendid was great—amazing customer service from start to finish, with staff who truly cared about making our trip special. The location couldn’t be better—right between Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco, so we could walk everywhere. Charming, comfortable rooms and a true Venetian atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This hotel was great. I loved the location, and design and the staff of the hotel. The shops were at our fingertips and St. Marks Square was minutes away. Breakfast was very good and they also have a bar terrace

This property is a disaster, our room was infested with dust mites, that were so bad myself and my wife could not sleep or breathe properly at night. The next morning I woke with my eyelids stuck together with discharge and infection caused entirely by staying in the room, we immediately cut short our stay to go to the Hilton Molina instead. On checking out early the staff simply didn't want to know. I had read people's petty reviews about trivial stuff and I ignore these, DO NOT IGNORE this and quite simply do not stay here if you value your health, they need to gut all of their rooms update their beds and clean their ventilation, I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me too, the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, period.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Our room was also very nice, and clean. We loved the color scheme, in both the bedroom and the bathroom. We have great service with the cleaning service. Loved the place and happy that we chose this hotel. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

We loved this hotel! My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights to start our Eurotrip and it was a fabulous hotel. Staff was kind and helpful and the location was fantasic - right in the center of the action. Room was clean and fairly spacious. Lots of shopping and restaurants around and we felt safe, but you have to be vigilant about pickpockets in any tourist destination in Italy. We paid for a private water taxi through the hotel to pick us up at the airport -- is there any better way to start your vacation than a boat through Venice?!? We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Venice.

My experience at the Splendid Hotel was, unfortunately, just ok. The room was extremely small, with barely any space to move around, and there were no options to unpack or store clothing properly, which made the stay feel cramped and inconvenient. I had specifically requested separate twin beds, but we were given a queen-size bed instead. Despite raising the issue, the request was ignored and not addressed during our stay. On a positive note, the restaurant staff was truly lovely—very welcoming and kind, which made meals enjoyable. However, the reception and front door service could use significant improvement, both in attentiveness and guest care. That said, the location was amazing—just a short walk to almost all major museums, tours, restaurants, and stores. It made exploring the city very convenient. Overall, while the location and restaurant service were excellent, the room comfort and customer service left much to be desired. There are better options nearby in the same price range.
