SĂ©jour parfait Ă  la maison Tilly

Nous Ă©tions 2 couples et avons passĂ© un agrĂ©able sĂ©jour Ă  la maison Tilly. L'appartement est bien dĂ©corĂ© et spacieux, mĂȘme si la cuisine est un peu exiguĂ« pour recevoir plus d’un cuistot Ă  la fois. Les deux chambres sont de bonne grandeur et l'une d'elle possĂšde une chambre de bain attenante. Les lits sont confortables, une laveuse Ă  linge est Ă  notre disposition et tout Ă©tait propre. Francesca n'a pu nous accueillir elle-mĂȘme, mais a tout fait pour rendre notre sĂ©jour agrĂ©able. Elle nous a rĂ©servĂ© un bateau taxi pour nous prendre Ă  notre arrivĂ©e Ă  Venise, et quelqu'un est venu nous accueillir au dĂ©barquement et nous diriger vers l'appartement. Ce fut grandement apprĂ©ciĂ©, car la premiĂšre fois, Venise peut reprĂ©senter un dĂ©fi pour trouver son chemin! La maison Tilly est trĂšs bien situĂ©e, autant pour faire les courses que visiter les points touristiques importants. Francesca a communiquĂ© avec nous rĂ©guliĂšrement pendant notre sĂ©jour pour s'assurer que tout allait bien. Elle nous a rĂ©fĂ©rĂ© de bons endroits et a mĂȘme fait des rĂ©servations pour nous. Elle nous a rĂ©servĂ© les services du mĂȘme bateau taxi (tout Ă  fait charmant!) pour nous rendre directement Ă  l'aĂ©roport, un moment fort de la fin de notre sĂ©jour en Italie. TrÚs bel appartement, Propriétaire trÚs accueillant et toujours disponible

Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© avec nos 2 enfants pendant 2 semaines en aoĂ»t dans l'appartement et nous en gardons un excellent souvenir. Francesca nous a trĂšs chaleureusement accueillis (elle nous a rĂ©servĂ© le taxi boat depuis l'aĂ©roport et nous a attendus Ă  notre arrivĂ©e) et nous a apportĂ© toute l'assistance dont nous avons eu besoin. L'appartement correspond en tout point Ă  la description. L'entrĂ©e de l'immeuble se fait dans une toute petite ruelle Ă  2 minutes Ă  pied du Rialto. Il est situĂ© au 3iĂšme Ă©tage sans ascenseur, mais les marches sont vite gravies! Une petite cuisine, une salle de bain et une salle avec douche complĂštent le logement. Les principaux Ă©quipements Ă©lectromĂ©nagers que l'on retrouve sont des plaques de cuisson, un petit frigo, une petit four Ă  micro-ondes (que nous n'avons pas utilisĂ©), un lave vaisselle et un lave linge (+ cafetiĂšre Ă©lectrique, bouilloire,etc.). Le salon est Ă©quipĂ© d'une tĂ©lĂ©vision par cĂąble, un lecteur DVD (quelques disques sont disponibles), une connexion Wifi et une climatisation. 2 ventilateurs supplĂ©mentaires sont Ă©galement disponibles pour les 2 chambres. On retrouve mĂȘme dans l'armoire d'une des chambres un petit coffre fort. La table dans la salle Ă  manger n'est pas trĂšs grande, mais suffit pour 4 Ă  5 personnes. L'appartement Ă©tait trĂšs bien dĂ©corĂ© (les photo sont parfaitement reprĂ©sentatives). Les 3 piĂšces Ă  vivre Ă©taient Ă©quipĂ©es de diffuseurs anti-moustiques, trĂšs apprĂ©ciables pendant notre sĂ©jour. Des sets de serviettes de toilettes Ă©taient disponibles Ă  notre arrivĂ©e. Le mĂ©nage est effectuĂ© une fois par semaine (pour les locataires restant plus de 7 jours, ce qui Ă©tait notre cas). Il faut cependant faire attention Ă  ne pas utiliser en mĂȘme temps tous les Ă©quipements Ă©lectriques (climatisation, lave-linge, lave-vaisselle, plaques) sous peine de faire disjoncter l'interrupteur gĂ©nĂ©ral de l'appartement (situĂ© au rez-de chaussĂ©e). Pour conclure, nous avons grandement apprĂ©ciĂ© notre sĂ©jour et nous recommandons vivement cet appartement.

Very nice apartment on the third floor (no elevator). The location is exceptional, within walking distance of restaurants, the Rialto Bridge, and other significant sites, water taxis, and shopping. The apartment was very clean, and the host was exceptionally gracious and responsive. I definitely recommend this apartment for vacations in Venice.

This was our first VRBO experience. I must say it was truly a great location in Venice. I appreciated our hosts assistance in booking our water taxi from the airport along with Paolo meeting us to go to the apartment. Unfortunately due to a storm apparently the Wi-Fi never worked during our brief stay. Also, felt the AC didn’t seem to work well. But it was a great location and beautifully furnished.

We had a wonderful stay in Venice. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The spacious living room and bedrooms were perfect after touring Venice. Just a 3 minute walk from the Railto Bridge, this apartment is convenient for exploring the city. The hosts were very helpful prior to our arrival, greeted us at the apartment, and offered helpful recommendations for dining in the area. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this apartment to our friends and family. Thank you Francesca and Paolo for a wonderful place to stay during our June 2025 trip!

Rialto Bridge

Our stay went off without any problems. Communication was excellent and the property is central to everything in Venice. The kitchen may have been difficult to cook an entire meal in but we did not use it much except for coffee or storing drinks and breakfast things. The air conditioner was fine for this last week when we were there but it was just a small unit in the living room and would probably not cool the whole apartment in the worst part of summer. It was definitely nice to have a washer to do laundry as this was the middle part of a 2 week trip for us. All in all our stay was good and would stay here again.

Lovely apartment

The apt itself was very nice, but it was very noisy throughout the night. We arrived alittle early & the host had someone meet us at the water bus stop to walk us to the apt, which is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. We did have a great time in Venice & the apt was close to everything!

Great location! Very clean! Francesca was so helpful pre arrival and the person who met us went over everything in the apartment and how to use everything and noted things on a map. Beds were comfortable. The apt had so much character. Great place to stay!

Fantastic Location

The apartment is in the middle of all the action of Venice. Close to many restaurants, museums, and churches. Super friendly and helpful host who was very patient with us getting on the boat and taking it two stops from the train terminal to Rialto Bridge. Also provided great help on getting to various ‘must see’ places. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. Just above a busy street with great shopping but quiet.

Property location specular

The Tilly house apartment is spacious and located very close to the Rialto bridge. The location made it very easy to get to nice restaurants and shopping and st Marks. A water taxi ride from airport was arranged by Francesca with a pickup at the bridge taking us to the apartment. This was very helpful. The kitchen could have used a little more coffee as there were only a few pods available but we found our way to a store for more. The washer was very convenient and worked out nice for us. For cleanliness we could only rate a 4 as the bathroom shower in the bedroom could have been cleaner. Also we did not have a top sheet on the bedding which would have been nice. Other than that great location and host! Thank you for our stay.

The perfect spot, apartment and host in Venice!

This is a tremendous location, about 2 min from the Rialto Bridge/Ferry, 5-10 min walk to St Mark’s Sq, and incredibly well centered to anything you want to see on Venice. Lots of shopping and dining within steps of the front door in an upscale neighborhood. The apartment is immaculately clean and maintained, very comfortable and quiet. Of particular note is the quick responsiveness of the owner: Francesca was helpful, flexible, patient and her representative Maria who met us was likewise flexible when our arrival time changed. Maria took the time to point out stores, dining and landmarks in the neighborhood, thoroughly explain the apartment and patiently answer our questions. I cannot recommend this booking enough. We enjoyed our stay, very comfortable beds, lots of towels but low on toilet paper! It’s 3 flights of stairs up to the flat so you need to be in fairly good shape. We did have difficulty with the keys. They are old, as to be expected but would not open easily! Maria greeted us at the waterbus dock and gave us a great orientation of the area! I give it a 10 score!

Great Location

The location of this apartment was great. Right at the foot of the Rialto bridge. Apartment was nicely done, but a couple points to keep in mind. This is on the third floor if stairs are an issue. Only one AC unit in the main living room. Rooms have fans, but AC was not adequate to cool down the back bedroom or bathroom. Granted it was extremely hot during our stay. In cooler times, this is a great place to stay.

Stay near the Rialto

The stay at the Rialto apartment was very nice. We were centrally located to all the wonderful experiences Venice has to offer. A few minor issues we experienced had to do with the en suite bathroom which had a toilet seat which slipped off the commode when used and the shower head in that bathroom which had weak water flow so much so that taking showers was impossible in that bathroom. Also the keys to the front door were tricky. We thought initially they did not work but after some jiggling we figured it out. Finally the stove temperature would only go on low, in case you need to use it. On the plus side, we were met by Maria at the Rialto Bridge when we arrived and walked to the apartment with her. Maria gave us a number of tips about getting around, especially with the vaporetto, as well as some good restaurant recommendations. Just be aware there are three flights of stairs which can be difficult if there are health issues.
