Just six miles from Epic, 17 miles to downtown Madison, 5 miles to Mount Horeb. Guest Suite is Pet-Friendly!
The space
A private getaway in a pictorial setting. This guest suite is a room with a view and a private entrance. Room has a smart TV, Keurig, mini fridge, hot plate, and seating for two. OUR POOL IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR REPAIRS. WILL UPDATE WHEN OPERATIONAL AGAIN. THANKS!

Country quiet close to town

Perfect size and location for visiting friends and family. The view of the valley is delightful. The unit is attached to the main house but has its own entrance. Clean and comfortable, the room was a bit like a private hotel room in the country. It's a short drive to Verona, Mt. Horeb or to Madison. I brought my dog, who loved the large yard and visiting the nearby dog park.

Exceptional Hospitality!

The location was rural but very close to town. The room had a separate entrance and I felt very welcome even with my two dogs. It was a very cosy arrangement and there were a lot of thoughtful additions such as a clean bathrobe and (brand new) slippers. There was even an extra dog bed if I would have needed it. I really enjoyed my stay.

Peaceful Stay

Very comfortable bed. The host had nice little touches to ensure guests are comfortable. Check in and check out was easy. We felt safe and secure. The ride into Madison was not bad at all. We would stay again.

Very secluded area of farmland -Nice

The property grounds were very nice... felt much like being on a farm. Here are some improvements that would be helpful to guests The lighting at your door and your parking spot is not good if you arrive at dark which we did. There is a code box which required you to have your phone flash light on to see properly. On one communication, we had a code with four digits. On another communication we had a code with five digits and on another we had 5 digits with a # at the end and another said 5 digits with a * at the end. So, in the dark our attempt to get in was very frustrating. They provided two bath towels for a four day stay.. at least one more would have been nice. The Keurig coffee maker did not work and it is a long drive to Starbucks! The room could use a bit more lighting. Dogs did bark early in the morning in the adjacent part of the building or outside somewhere.The water in the refrig and snack items were a nice addition. Overall it was a good experience.

The room was nice with the big window offering natural light and a beautiful view of the surroundings. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was stocked with essentials and had nice plush towels. The host family was very friendly and accommodating. A very serene, comfortable spot to end a long day of traveling.

Great Stay

We had a great time. The room is small but it was clean and had everything we needed. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the pool very much and the property is beautiful. We will be coming back next year.

Short weekday getaway

This property was perfect for our little getaway to check out UW-Madison and the surrounding areas for just a couple days. The place had so many extra amenities that were available, and Marca was welcoming and kind if we needed anything. Perfect for a couple’s trip!

Lovely spot!

Space is clean, property is very pretty! Pool wasn’t ready for use, but can imagine it would add even more to the a summer stay! Owner is easy to communicate with. Ran into severe weather - owners were welcoming and ensured we were safe at all times. We will definitely be back to visit again!

Quaint space

I enjoyed this location. Was the perfect size for one person (or a couple’s getaway). The room was secure and safe. Clean and had some nice little extras in the room. Marca was very attentive to all communication we had. The scenery out the big bay window was lovely as well. Would stay again if the opportunity arose.

Quick sisters weekend.

Shared the space with my sister for a low key weekend. Property was easy to get into and amenities within the indoor space were on point. The outdoor space was huge but outdoor amenities shown on listing were not easily accessible. Pool is out of order for the season. We were given the option to go to a local pool but at additional cost and inconvenience. Not a huge deal but property also listed bikes and kayaks for use. When asked, we got a quick response but again not easily accessible.

Extended Stay in Verona

Marca and her family were extremely welcoming. She was quick to offer clean dishes and sheets or anything else I may need. She was very accomidating - even with me bringing my dog, a Great Dane. The property was beautiful. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a cozy stay for a trip to Verona or Madison (which is only 20 minutes away).

The property was So quiet, we got to enjoy the swimming by ourselves floating in chairs (this does not happen very often) The Gazebo was so beautiful to just relax in. We had our tiny dog with us, he loved the walks around the property. The Host was awesome, very pleasant to chat with, the bed was very comfortable. We had the best weekend and will definitelygo back
