Minutes from Madison's west side and surrounding small towns, Mt. Horeb, Verona, Blue Mounds, and New Glarus, all of which have a lot to offer. This house is perfect for gatherings of any occasion. Family and friend getaways, business, and more. Come enjoy the beautiful country. Go for a bike ride on the Military Ridge trail, Hike the Driftless trails that go right past the property, and enjoy the hot tub and a fire when you get back. The house caters exactly to the type of vacation you are looking for.

This is a very spacious, quiet and clean home. It has everything you need (kitchen items, towels), It's located away from town but not too far away. Beautiful winding roads and hills in the area, along with many options for walks/hikes/biking. Several deer came nearby the house to say hello. The host, Scott, was very responsive. We had a great stay!

We had a nice getaway for three generations of our family. Great bonus of being so close to the bike trail. We enjoyed being out in the quiet, but close enough to find plenty of restaurants, mini golf, escape room, etc. Loved the sun room and the space to play games and do puzzles.

Overall had a wonderful stay. There was a few things that was lacking in the kitchen but a quick message and the items were sent over. I would suggest the railing gets tightened, my dad uses a cane and a walker almost leaned against it and it gave a small scare. But my dad loved the master bedroom and bathroom on the first floor.

Scott was a fantastic host - very responsive & easy to work with! Lots of room for us to spread out & relax without feeling we were on top of each other! The listing did say "pool" but apparently an above ground pool was recently removed. This home had lots of beds, large areas to sit and visit, and a great kitchen and eating areas. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and communication with our host was friendly and easy.Some of the pictures on the listing may be a bit outdated - I noticed that the ping pong table (which is on top of the pool table) and foosball table are now on tile, not carpet. The hot tub was fun for us all, and there were plenty of towels.It was too cold to go outside, but it had a spacious back yard, porch and grill. There was a lot of junky-looking stuff off to the side of the yard which might have been an issue if my kids wanted to explore outside, but it didn't affect us staying inside except for it being an eyesore out of the beautiful sunroom sitting room.We used the kitchen and found it well-provided for with basics of salt/pepper, oil, pots/pans/serving utensils. It had a stove and oven top that were easy to use. Appliances (dishwasher, washer and dryer) were all easy to use with well-stocked soap and detergents.It was spendy, but definitely comparable to what we would have to spend on a hotel room for our family size, and this was much more spacious and pleasant than a hotel.The listing advertises a pool/communal pool, which we were not expecting to use anyway since we visited in March, but there was no pool. Maybe it was referring to the hot tub.The home is a duplex. The other side of the duplex appeared uninhabited while we were there.We would stay again.

Scott Hosts an Amazing Place

We were in Madison for a swim meet and stayed at Scott’s place with another swim family. The house easily sleeps 8. I would say t could comfortably handle 12 with air mattresses. Hot tub was amazing. Kids played ping pong and pool for hours. Thanks for eating us stay Scott. It was awesome.
