Welcome to "The Crab Shack" located in Salt Marsh Point. This is our recently renovated home located just minutes from the oceanfront. Everything here is new, upscale, comfy and just waiting for you. Imagine relaxing on the front veranda in upscale patio furniture, led candles, offset umbrella, outdoor grill and privacy fence. Or take it inside to the professionally decorated beach themed setting, with everything brand new (except the antiques) and waiting for you. Ready for the beach? We have provided beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, a rolling cooler and a rolling beach cart and wagon to carry everything you need for some sun and sand.

Simply perfect

The place was absolutely perfect. It was FULLY stocked when we arrived, you basically only need to bring your clothes and that’s it. John was very helpful and answered all my questions very promptly. We stayed for two weeks with our two dogs and the yard was perfect for them. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood and is about a 10 mins drive to the beach and all the attractions. We really had the best time and are very sad to leave..! We will definitely try to come again. Thank you for everything !

Wow!

Une semaine parfaite! Confort, propreté, ambiance, etc. Les hÎtes sont accessibles et présents. L'emplacement est bien. 15 minutes de vélo jusqu'au boardwalk. Coin paisible, tranquille et central. Nous allons y retourner ! Merci beaucoup.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home. The host, John, thought of everything to make our stay fantastic from the thoughtful decorations for Christmas to the soaps and paper plates. We've never stayed at a VRBO that was so fully stocked! Everything we needed was provided. Definitely want to return next year!

The kitchen was very very well stocked seasonings and all. The bathroom was well stocked. The whole place was in excellent condition and clean. It smelled nice. The tvs were easy to set up with my own streaming services. The furniture and bed were very comfortable. The owners were so pleasant about everything. I really can’t say enough good things about the house and the owners. We will absolutely be staying here every time we come back if it’s available.

This place is not only extremely homey and cute, but they have anything you could need in the home. Down to a kennel and dog bowl in the closet. We have already decided if we come back that we are definitely staying here again! Its in a nice and quiet area and close to alot of things. Highly recommend!

The place was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you would need. Very cizy home and beautifully decorated in beach decor. The outside grounds were very nice and fully fenced both front and back for privacy. Would definitely syay again. The hosts were very nice and and always available if you have any questions.

Great stay. House was cozy, clean, beautifully decorated and convenient. Host was friendly and helpful when we called. Kitchen and entire house was well stocked with every possible convenience. Only slight negative was the noise from the fighter jets, although we got used to it. Would definitely stay at the crab shack again.Five stars!!

We really loved the home—it was perfect for a beach getaway and had everything we needed for a great stay. However, we did notice that it's located directly under the flyover, which brought some unexpected noise. Also, it seemed like there may have been a cat in the home at some point, as there was a noticeable pet odor. Despite those things, we truly enjoyed our time there and appreciated the overall experience.

Great Time!

Property was even better than portrayed in the pictures! Attention to detail including supplying things we might possibly need was the best we have experienced. We could not have asked for more. I even got some excellent photos of the F/A -18’s returning to Norfolk base. Our boy Simon appreciated his patch of grass as well. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Loved it

The house was amazing. Clean well stocked it had things we forgot to bring as we got in late. Not sure if I liked the front yard or the back yard better. Both fenced in for my dog to enjoy. Quiet neighborhood very peaceful to sit outside in the morning. Definitely one of our favorite vacation homes.

Virginia to see family

Great location, property was perfect, had everything we needed.Very pet friendly as advertised, easy in and out of property. Close to beach and restaurants, very clean and tidy, front area is so relaxing to sit and hang out. The only negative was that the backyard grass was a little too long for our small dog to use for the bathroom.no biggie because the neighborhood is great for walking.
