The property just has one full bathroom. This was challenging for 5 people. It is walkable to the beach, which is nice. The walls and ceiling are thin, so neighbors walking around and street noise are evident. The condo was clean and the host was flexible.

July 4th vacation

We arrived to a very clean and organized home. Everything was very well explained on the app and on the few things listed around the home. If staying here, check the notebook on the island for notes about the city and home and such, and leave your own! We had an amazing week! Extremely busy, given it was the week of a holiday, but the 4th of July fireworks were amazing and all the shops and such on the boardwalk were fantastic! Everything was very close too. We definitely plan to come back to Virginia Beach eventually, as I live in Ohio currently. Definitely a well deserved vacation and I throughly enjoyed staying with Sammie! 10/10 would recommend!!!!!!!!!

Condo was great/clean. Location was perfect. Enjoyed the ocean front Fri night and drove to daughter graduation Sat morning. Need to bring your own washcloths and no TV In bedrooms but would absolutely stay again.

Lovely condo

Lovely condo a few blocks from the beach in a residential neighborhood. Very quiet. Perfect for our small family for a long weekend. It’s a little bit older, but in fine shape and nicely furnished & decorated. Very clean. A/C was a bit weak for my guys, but they are big guys and like it icy. Hubby said the wi-fi was weak in the far bedroom, but was fine in the living room. The gals thought both A/C and wi-fi were fine. Sammie provides everything - linens, kitchen utensils, etc. We brought beach towels, umbrella, & chairs. For our last-minute, height of the season vacation it was less than the price of a beach motel and we got an entire, lovely condo! Thank you, Sammie!

Quick Overnight for Ocean Swim Race

Sammie was a great host, quick responses and allowed us a late checkout. Apartment had easy parking and access and is a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. We arrived to a clean and cool space (even a nifty little patio). There was a full page of pool rules but nothing posted about checkout rules. We stripped the beds, washed the dishes and forgot to take out the trash (sorry Sammie). The communication plaque was sort of illegible so we were never successful in connecting to the Wi-Fi. It didn’t really matter as we spent all our short time at the beach. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Location was great not to close to the hustle and bustle. Walking distance from beach, entertainment and restaurants. Take advantage of Freebee it’s a free transportation company in a comfortable Tesla! Sammie was very accommodating!

Wonderful

This place was beautiful and I really enjoy all that it had to offer. I love the back patio and was on it every day I was there. It is a short ride to the beach and any where else you might want to go. I look forward to visiting again SOON.

The worst rental experience

The unit is a part of a apartment complex. It smells like marijuana once you open the main entrance. The apartment was not clean. There were hairballs all over the floor. Doors, walls, carpets, and sheets were all stained. Given the state of the unit, I wouldn't be surprised if the only cleaning done was using the Roomba in the corner to vacuum. There were no bath or face towels, paper towels, nor dish sponges. There was not enough bedding for all our guests. Missing all of the basic necessities. When informed about the sheets and towels, the owner simply responded, “There should be some in the linen closet. I had a made service there earlier.” We had to go buy face and bath towels for the whole family. Overall, the owner was very dismissive and unaccommodating of the issues with her unit in subsequent messages. Vrbo considered the missing of the necessities and the dirty apartment a “ minor issue” that should be worked out with the property owner. Extremely disappointed with both services. We had to leave the dirty place and booked a hotel for the second night. Will NEVER go back to this place or rent from Sammie nor VRBO.
