Hatcher Pass Lakeside Hideaway with Hot Tub!

Our tiny home is elegant and simple, hand crafted for privacy with close to town comforts, yet off the beaten path. This cozy paradise is tucked away on a private drive boasting some of the best views of the Wasilla Range. The home is crafted to provide you with over 420 Sq Feet of carefully planned space offering a fully functional kitchen, a beautiful bathroom and a custom tiled shower. It is truly magical to soak outdoors under the night sky in the privacy of your own hot tub!

This space is thoughtfully designed to provide a luxury outdoor/indoor experience.

The tiny home boasts custom finishes including loft cable railing, pine and aspen interior trim, quartz countertops, high end cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, heated towel rack, and an all-in-one space saving washer/dryer. Tremendous thought and consideration was taken to make the indoor space feel welcoming and warm. Plush pillows and soft floor coverings add a cozy touch. Large picturesque windows invite the beauty of nature into the space, making it feel expansive. Remote control operated blackout shades are provided for your privacy and for those amazing sunny days in the summer.

The bedroom space is lofted and accessible by a beautifully handcrafted stepladder. Waking up here to enjoy the views of the small lake and mountain range from the loft brings peace and comfort to your soul. Manufacture recommendations limit the loft ladder to 250 pounds.

The loft offers a high end queen size mattresses, equipped with high quality linens and a water proof mattress protector.

If your not comfortable climbing the ladder, our couch in the main living area pulls out to a full size hide-abed. The full-size mattress features a memory foam type mattress with comfy mattress cover to ensure a great nights sleep.

Enjoy the evening watching our 32" Smart TV (Netflix streaming included) while accessing your own accounts (Hulu, HBO, ESPN, etc ).

The kitchen is mini but mighty; we provide all the essentials to cook a lovely meal during your stay. It’s fully equipped with a gas stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, blender, chopping boards, measuring cups, baking dishes, pots and pans, blender, skillet, basic spices, and cutlery set.

For the coffee lovers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Whether it be a flavored cup of Keurig coffee, hot chocolate, and an assortment of teas. Our compliments to you!

Towels, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are all provided for your convenience! Not to mention we've added in soft and comfy robes to make the walk to and from the hot tub an enjoyable experience. Plan ahead and put your towels on the heated towel rack and you'll be sure to love wrapping up in warmth. We are taking extra precautions to protect you and your family. Our cleaning team sanitize all the high touch areas such as door knobs, light and lamp switches, remotes, counter and furniture tops, etc.

Easy to access the dwelling through self-check in. Details for access are provided prior to your arrival. You have access to the entire cabin, decking, hot tub along with access to the private lake/pond, dock and upon request; kayaks. The small lake is a shallow body of water with no fish. We provide life jackets and will give basic instruction with using the kayaks as requested.

The home itself is located near the parent home property, down a separate private driveway. Entry to the home does requires going up a flight of wooden stairs, with stairs entering both sides of the home to access the parking area or hot tub decking. This listing is NOT handicap accessible.

We enjoy talking with our guests! We have tremendous knowledge of the area, including tips and recommendations for fishing, hiking, berry picking, biking and more! We want to make your Alaskan experience very enjoyable!

Quiet driveway to the home with enough parking for 2 vehicles. Taxi or Uber to the home as needed. Only 10-15 minutes to Wasilla.

During the wintertime, you may hear the delightful sound of owls and coyotes at night. Year round it is possible to have moose walk across the lake or through the yard. Spring time boasts amazing views of our returning waterfowl including ducks, sand hill cranes and trumpeter swans.
You'll love warming up with a hot beverage on the front deck and soaking in our brand new hot tub.

Many great hikes and recreational activities are just a short drive up to Hatcher Pass and Government Peak Trails. You’ll also find excellent sledding spots during the winter, along with picturesque hikes during Summer. This is the perfect couples' retreat.

Enjoy our top of the line brand new hot tub with seating for four people, equipped with 24 jets and color changing light features. The back door opens up to a wooded and private deck sitting around the 4 person hot tub. Wire cable railing was handcrafted to provide the best views of the lake, wildlife and mountain range no matter where your sitting. The surrounding trees give you a “lost in the woods” feeling.

Warm up around the wood fire pit after a fun day of sledding/skiing/hiking/fishing while enjoying a hot beverage, or roasting a marshmallow.
