Fishing trip

The property is located next to the owner, who's a landscaper, so there are a lot of trailers and equipment scattered in the driveway next to the rental. There's a dock, but you won't be able to put your boat there as the owner's boat is occupying it. The place is old but did the job. It's very well located

Check in was easy, met owner first day. Kitchen was good size, large table, fully stocked with anything you would need. Spacious living room, comfortable bedrooms, sleeps 6 easily plus a sofa bed. Nice beach, great view. Planning to come back in the future.

Great Getaway

This was a great place to getaway and decompress. The owner was friendly and communicative. The property was as in the condition it was described. We had a great time and our morning routine of walking across the road to enjoy our coffee while looking out over the lake was thoroughly enjoyable. We would stay here again.

Perfect-ish getaway

Fantastic rustic home. Besides needing my box fan the house had everything needed! Boating and fishing right across the street. Great family, neighbors and restaurant in walking distance. Unable to use any WiFi. Idk if the modem is in homeowners house but Verizon had zero service. AT&T worked great.

Good summer rental

Perfectly fine home. Close enough to ferry for trips to Vermont. Directly across the street from Lake Champlain, so we had beautiful fall views. Plenty of space for our 2 boys to enjoy, including a backyard leading into the woods. Better rental for warmer, summer months. Heat was from 2 small space heaters. We were glad we brought our slippers. We did not have cell service in this area, and wifi was really only available in the bedroom closest to property manager’s home.

Lovely location.

Absolutely wonderful lakefront. Cottage roomier than it appears. Wifi is a bit weak, however, so use this as a true getaway from the world.

Great area

At first we were worried we didn’t have a place to stay, as there wasn’t any check in information and had to call Vrbo. Owner came over to meet us and showed us how everything worked. The water view is actually across the street. It’s lovely to watch the sunset or have a fire. We saw a water plane land and take off. WiFi can only be accessed if sitting in the back room by washer and dryer. The only suggestion I have is if the place was cleaned. It was very dusty, musty and the fridge was very dirty with someone’s take out left in there. The freezer was gross as well. Loved having a washer and dryer, the location, coffee pot and appliances, 3 bedrooms and plenty of space was great! Gary was very nice!!

Great place to relax with family

Great waterfront space with private beach, dock, lawn, firepit, and covered picnic area. We spent everyday down by the lake just watching boats go by and paddling around on our inner tubes. Water was so clear!

Beautiful waterfront hangout

Can’t recommend this space enough—less than an hour from Plattsburgh/two hours from Montreal. In addition to a cozy three bedroom cottage, you’ve got a private dock, beach, fire pit, and picnic area across the street. Perfect for indoor and outdoor socializing alike. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home; great communication.
