The Space:

An open layout welcomes you with comfortable furnishings and abundant natural light throughout. The large combined living and dining area opens onto the bright kitchen and back patio through French doors. The cozy bedroom is furnished with a plush queen bed and black out blinds for those that don’t wish to wake with the rising sun. Handmade artwork and bespoke wall hangings can be found in every room. Climate controlled mini split systems keep the home comfortable year round. Expansive outdoor lounge spaces give front row views to golden hour sunsets, clear night skies, and to the abundance of local flora and fauna that call California’s high desert home.



With quick access to local shops, cafes, and popular high desert landmarks like the Integratron and Pioneertown, the Mojave Mesa House offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquil seclusion.

Getting Around:

We recommend traveling by car to explore Joshua Tree for maximum flexibility, as ride sharing services are unreliable. If you prefer not to drive, the local taxi service Lucky 777 is a dependable option. Our property offers free parking for up to four vehicles to ensure your car is kept secure during your stay.

• 3:00PM CHECK-IN

We'd love for you to check in before 8pm so you have plenty of daylight to settle in and get comfortable before dark.



• CLEANING FEE

As the top Professional Management Company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards and have been able to keep our rates low while still paying a living wage. 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests.



• A/C & Heater

Mojave Mesa is cooled and heated by mini splits to keep you comfortable all year long.



• FIRE

Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed. If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane firepit provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine.



• WASHER/DRYER

House has a washer and dryer available to guests.



• ROADS

Mojave Mesa is easily located by any sedan. The house itself is on a well maintained dirt road, but only 750 ft from the main, paved road. All roads leading to the street are paved.



• GUESTS

You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.



• PETS

No pets are allowed on the property. A fine of $250 will be applied to guests that bring pets.



• AMAZON ALEXA ECHO DOT

There is one Echo Dot located in the living area near the router for you to play music etc. If you don't wish to use it / don't like Alexa devices, feel free to unplug it.



• WATCH YOUR STEP

This desert land holds onto bits of its past, so you may spot the occasional rusty object or piece of glass in the yard, please wear shoes anytime you're outside. You'll also be sharing the landscape with local snakes and scorpions. They want nothing to do with you, so if you see one, just back away calmly and quietly



• DESERT CRITTERS

Please keep doors closed while entering and exiting, curious critters will let themselves in given the chance. Desert wildlife is part of what makes this area special, expect sightings of jackrabbits, tortoises, roadrunners, quail, and lizards. You may also spot coyotes, rattlesnakes, scorpions, or occasionally a bobcat or mountain lion. Most just want their space, so it's best to give them yours.



• CAMERA/DECIBEL MONITOR

This property has one forward-facing exterior security camera, but there are no cameras anywhere inside the home. We also use noise decibel monitors indoors to help avoid disturbing neighbors. These only measure sound levels and never record audio.



HOUSE AND PROPERTY

Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Host and Host's employees and Owner, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities or causes of action of any kind that guest, members of guest's household or guest's guests or invitees may have at any time against Host or Host's agents resulting from guest's use of the house and property.
