"Pros: Staff and management were incredible. Very kind, helpful, accommodating! The location was great for beach lovers. The restaurant waitress was beyond busy but she always had a smile. Cons: Poor Value for the costs!!! We arrived early and were told the room was ready (yeah) but then was told it would cost $75 extra! While the facility was recently renovated, the rooms have a VERY strong odor of sewage or mildew. We were moved to a room next to a small pool with deck but the pool was closed each day and we even had to leave the loungers because the staff was training in the pool. The window faced the street and since it’s located close to a fire station, we heard loud sirens all night-as well as cars honking, motorcycles, loud music from the street. If you’re a light sleeper-request a room away from the front. The cost for valet was $60 per night so be prepared! If you’re attending Tortuga, beware! It only makes sense to stay here if you have VIP. The main entrance is about a mile away and you have to walk or pay for a golf cart. The food and drinks were OUTRAGEOUSLY priced. $22 for a coffee and muffin; $70 for two basic bar drinks. You’re better off going a few blocks down to Shorely. The staff get an A +, the value for the cost gets an F although it was Tortuga weekend so I’m sure they just want to make $$. I get it but still feel totally ripped off for what we got. "

"Great stay, great price. Rely on the on-site restaurant if you do not have a car - it is an industrial area with nothing around. New place."

"Stayed in the Tresor Tower. Long lines & waits for the elevators. "

"Only one elevator worked, the ac didn't work, the microwave in the room stuck closed and I had to wait 25 minutes for someone to come and free my food from the microwave..... It's very close to the hotel tho, and even has a shuttle (which drove right cross me when I first got to Miami and I ended up having to take a taxi to the hotel.)"
