Very noisy location. Unsure about the area because it appears as though there are some unsavory characters hanging around. The room was comfortable but didn’t seem modern like most hotels

The website says free shuttle to airport from 6am-10pm. However only runs once an hour and the last shuttle from airport to hotel is 9pm. Can ride was $51 for about 5 miles.

Prior to arrival I inquired about shuttle service from the airport to the hotel upon arrival in Miami I placed another call and was told where to wait for the shuttle. The shuttle arrived and we were taken to Laquita inn however when I went to check in it was then discovered we were taken to Laquita East instead of North the same driver that took us from the airport was the same driver that returned however instead of taking us to the correct facility he took us back to the airport and remove our luggage and placed them on the curb in essence he firgurately threw us off the shuttle. I was traveling with my husband and two friends we had was to call for two Uber to take us to the correct facility. I WOULD NEVER EVER AGAIN STAY AT ANOTHER Laquinta.

Upon arrival I called for the shuttle and was told it was coming. Then I was told by airport staff there is construction and had to wait on another level. I called the hotel to be put on hold 3 times and then hung up on with no instructions of where I should go to get picked up. So eventually just called an Uber. I got to the hotel and check in was ok, there was a line but the staff was working as fast as they could to check us all in. The pool is extremely dirty, not very many lounge chairs. The room is clean but very dated. The bath tub did not have a stopper so I couldn’t take a bath, I had to take a shower instead. The shower pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water. All in all the room is decent enough for one night.

The hotel Shuttle needs to be more visible for quest to recognize at the airport. The hotel local phone # needs to be easily available for quests to contact the front desk. Many of the breakfast facilities were broken down and were not in use. The hot water and drinks dispensers were all out of order. Very poor.

Rooms accessible externally rather than internal corridor. Very noisy next to a McDonald’s during night. Inconsiderate guests coming and going at all hours slamming doors and talking at top of voice at 3am. Cars and motorbikes revving and driving around and around hotel perimeter. Bed and pillows comfy but was like torture drifting off to sleep for 20 mins and continuously being woken up.

Crazy rules on early check ins; there idea is before 3p.m. I was there at 11a.m. Travelled from 1:30 a.m. dead tired and was informed that an early check in was an additional $50.00 which I thought was redicules !! I would never return to this hotel chain !!!! Crooks trying to take advantage of tired travellers.

When we requested a blanket the answer was that La Quinta didn´t have it and that the bed already had sheets! There was no shampoo, just conditioner. The little coffe machine in the room for 2 had just one cup and one coffe pill to serve. The coffe machine was "OUT OF ORDER" at breakfast time and so was the toaster. Little things that should be provided to make guests feel comfortable.
