I was very disappointed because on the second day they said I had to pay an additional $ 250 in addition to the $350 I already paid. He said the hotel rates go up based on occupancy. The fuller the hotel is the higher the price is. They had no office to print things out and breakfast cost $7.99 instead of free like the website said.

Housekeeping not completed after requested. Front desk staff didn't care even when our AC didn't work for (2) day so finally we just left a day early and got another hotel. The food at the restaurant was horrible at best. This is a boutique hotel trying to be a minimalist rather than a special boutique. NEVER AGAIN!

My room was really large and spacious, a lot of open space to move around, nice view of the city. The bathroom was nice as well, however a wider glass door would stop the water from hitting the floor. The buffet was not worth the cost. It should have been continental, as it had the same boring items that all other hotels would have for free (included in the price of the room). The ambience of the hotel was really nice inside and out. I liked the gym area, the hallway (bathroom in the hall was a good idea) and the rooftop bar. The bottom floor bar had a good bartender, however the alcohol or liqueurs appeared to be old/stale. I ordered an apple martini and the sour apple pucker (something I keep in my own bar, and is a very dark green) was very light green and had no taste whatsoever. Fortunately, the bartender Raphael (I believe), took notice of it sitting off to the side and offered to make me another one using midori, which was fine with me, and turned out to taste exactly as I like my appletini. Side note: it might help to monitor your alcohol, in terms of expiration. But overall, a very nice stay, will stay again in the future. Thank you!!!

Staff is nice and professional. Hotel is nice overall, convenient to MIA airport. Need an office chair in rooms, even if it is a small one with no wheels. The one provided is too high for the desk. Light switches in room are a nightmare. After 3 stays, I still can't figure them out. Everything else is good, except the no early check-in policy. Just charge a higher average rate and allow for early check-ins.
