Villa della Contessa is a splendid three-story historical villa surrounded by meadows and by green hills. It sleeps 16 people. From Villa della Contessa you will enjoy a fascinating view of the Tuscan hills and of Florence at a distance. Villa della Contessa is 1000 square meters (10800 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 2.5 km (1.5 miles) from San Polo in Chianti, where you will find restaurants and shops.
You will reach Villa della Contessa without having to climb any steps.
To stay at Villa della Contessa you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a parking space. Please note that access to Villa della Contessa is along a 200-meter (660-foot) narrow unpaved road.

Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 9.5 meters (31 feet) large by 11 meters (36 feet) long, 1.5 meters (5 feet) deep. It is an infinity pool and can be heated if requested (additional cost applies -- please enquire with our staff). The area is equipped with a table, chairs, deck chairs, sun loungers, a gazebo and external showers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a gorgeous view of the greenery and of the hills. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.
Garden
The garden is 10000 square meters (108000 square feet). It is partly shaded by tall trees. It is equipped with tables, chairs and a gazebo. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a spellbinding view of the greenery.
Ground FloorLiving Room 1
The first living room is paved with wood. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and refined, featuring some antique pieces, and include two sofas and armchairs. There is an elegant fireplace. From the living room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The room also has a window.
Living Room 2
The second living room is paved with Tuscan terracotta tiles. The furnishings are elegant and refined, featuring some antique pieces, and include two sofas and armchairs. There is a nice fireplace. In this room you will find a satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the garden through two French doors.
Dining Room 1
The ceiling of the first dining room is made of wood. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include some antique pieces, suspended chandeliers and banners on the walls. The dining table can accommodate 18 guests. The room has two windows, and is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Dining Room 2
The ceiling of the second dining room boasts a star vault. The furnishings are elegant and refined. The dining table can accommodate ten guests. The room has two windows.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen through a corridor. It is very well equipped, with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. The kitchen has a window with a view of the garden.
