I had great stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect with many restaurants within walking distance. There was grocery store and CVS within walking distance. Metro was only 10 minute walk away. The price was about $80 cheaper than other hotels in the area.

Cleanliness of room: HORRIBLE - the carpet nasty; refrigerator smelled; water cold. Amenities in room: NO room phone; NO microwave. Hallway: trash can located front of room door. Parking Fee: $20 per night (x 2-nights $40). Building: TERRIBLE - Needs repairs

The property was well located between two metro stops, and had attached, a quality Mexican restaurant with Thai, Italian, Japanese, American eateries, all within a short, five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was s bit sparse, no continental breakfast or even coffee options so one would need to walk to nearby Starbucks for morning jo. The hotel was basically clean but the rooms are quite small and spartan like. My room went a day without hot water but was restored in short order. If location is important, where not having a car is part of your plan, this hotel meets the mark. If you’re looking for amenities, the Bethesdan is right next door and a Marriott is just a short walk down Wisconsin Av.
