First, the photo on your website in misleading. The picture is of part of the owners house, not the Wood Shed. Second, the barbeque was dirty and I had to clean it before using it. The inside had cobwebs in several places and the toilet was in a room of it's own. There was no sink in that room and no mirror or soap etc. My wife saw fly crap on surfaces and the barbeque utensals were dirty also. Very disappointing.

If your ever in Campbell River this is a beautiful spot to stay just 15 km out. Beautiful area with beach access ! Great hosts !

Not as private and quiet as I had hoped.

The woodshed cabin was great. Unfortunately it did not have a microwave and there was no sink in the bathroom so you had to wash your hands in the kitchen sink. As there is a rental unit on the property where the children or grandkids would play at the playground very close to cabin. So it was not private. The tenants of the rental were allowed to use a bbq close to the main house and again I had people walking past my cabin to bbq. Although this is a pet friendly Vrbo, there are no fences or separation from the cabin. The VRBO host had a dog of her own and at times I felt more comfortable keeping my dog in the cabin when her dog was out. I would say that this is a nice place if you are not concerned about the issues I experienced.

Lovely little cottage

We really enjoyed our stay in the Woodshed. It was a relaxing one night get-away for me and my sweetie, and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting our childhood haunts of Driftwood beach and Miracle beach. The Woodshed was cute and well-appointed and it was perfectly situated near the beach.

Very disappointed

On our arrival the host met with us and toured the cabin and informed us of how to use the hot tub. The chairs outside the woodshed were covered with bugs, earwigs, spiders, etc. We had to brush off all the bugs before sitting on the chairs. Once inside the cabin we were shocked to see that there was no sink in the washroom...my husband has a medical condition that requires a sink. The only sink available was the kitchen sink. Before I was able to place anything in the fridge I had to clean it. The unit did not have a toaster but a toaster/convention oven. The BBQ was filthy and we couldn't even consider BBQ ing. The firepit was intimating as it had at least five chairs surrounding it and the firewood that was supplied was remnants of 2 by 4 cut up wood. The host had a dog that was let loose and would bother us, wanting us to play with him. My worse disappointment was that there was not a sink in the washroom which I believe isn't even legal. They also advertised that they had 2 kayaks with life jackets that we never saw. The only positive comment we could make was the hot tub was the only thing that we enjoyed. Bill and Janice visit from September 16th for 3 nights. A lot of money spent for a very disappointing stay!

Beach Getaway

Everything was absolutely as advertised and more. The suite was extremely clean, the bed was really comfortable and the property was exceptionally quiet. Very short walk to an amazing beach with lots of cool parks and other beaches around. 12/10 would recommend staying here, we will definitely be returning.
