I stayed 4 nights. Food: The $20 buffet breakfast is not worth half of that money. No oatmeal pot. No pancake machine. Only scrambled eggs; most hotels breakfasts have flat eggs for you to put on an English muffin. When I asked if there were any other styles of eggs the guy looked at me like I was crazy and said we only do scrambled, no other styles ever. Room: the view was incredible, we had the 12th floor facing the city and skyscrapers. However, it felt like a closet. One plug in entire room. Bed shoved sideways against window because the room width prevents walking around the bed. The view is the only thing worth paying for here. I'm not going to stay in a citizenM hotel ever again because of the breakfast and tiny rooms.

Such a convenient location. Right above major subway and train line, and connected to TD center. Very walkable, close to food markets, attractions, and dining. Staff were very polite and greeted you every time you came back. Always available for anything we needed. The room was equipped with everything and the iPad controls were a nice touch. Great breakfast spread and common areas. Would definitely stay again!

Great location! We walked just about everywhere, but it is also adjacent to a train station and subway line for further outings. The hotel has a nice lounge area on the 4th floor with balcony overlooking the city. The room was tiny, but nice. It worked well for us since we just wanted a place to sleep and didn't spend a lot of time in the room.

There are only 2 positive about this hotel. The view was great. The location is good for exploring Boston. The negatives are long. 1. The AC is a joke. Everything is run via an iPad. When I turned the AC all the way down to its coldest setting and the fan on its highest setting and left for 3+ hours the room was 1.5 degrees colder. When I called the desk the worker checked our room remotely and said the room shows it’s getting colder from the original 69 degrees and told me I would never hear the fans from AC. If I’m not hearing the fans it’s means it’s not working. The only other option was to bring a BOX fan to our room. If your AC doesn’t work you need better fans than a box fan. 2. A pretentious modern hotel. There is a receptionist who watches you do your own check in and offers little help. 3. The rooms are TINY. With no room to open a single suitcase. If you have 2 people in the king size room you have to open your suitcase in front of the door on the floor and hope you don’t need to leave in hurry. There are none of the normal amenities of hotel rooms. No fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Not to mention if you’re sharing the bed the person sleeping next to the window has to crawl over the person to get out of bed. 4. There is not appropriate bedding. There is no top sheet and the comforter was probably a queen size on XL King. I am restricted with the length of this review, but I could keep going. Terribly upset about spending $600 for this obnoxious room.

The staff was very helpful and professional. Kayla at check in was especially nice. This is a utilitarian like hotel. ( Meaning much self service stuff. ) Standard rooms are very small, but well put together. Great view of the city. And, wonderful walkable location. Breakfast was good, very European. ( Cold cuts, cheese, some hot food, good croissants and great coffee and tea. ) Would recommend this for the price. It's a bang for the buck.

Clean, modern facility. Staff curtious and helpful. Walkable to downtown attractions dining. Walkable to Italian North End. Next to North train station and TDGarden Enjoyed our three night stay. However, if we were to book it again, we would have to get a bigger room. The studio, even though it’s sleeps two, is not really comfortable for two people (even for mates). The width of the room is equal to length of the king size bed and takes up 1/3 of the room. Otherwise, very nice.
