staff was great, the double beds in my first room was so bad you can feel all the springs, its that old. the TV in the room was not a smart TV so i couldnt hook up to my appslike Netflix. Bathrooms are very dated, toilet for a child, so low, not ideal for a senior citizen like myself. The new room i was given was a king bed, very firm, tough on my joints

Location, location, location! There’s some thing old world about this place. It’s not glitzy. It’s not super modern, but it’s comfortable. It’s walkable to Beacon Hill and the people were lovely.

The location and the staff were exceptionally top notch. However, the beds at this hotel were the absolute most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on with all our travels. The beds were so mushy and the pillows were so cheap and need replaced. The bed and pillows were more comparable to a $39 dollar a night hotel and if we were staying more than a few nights we would have checked out to get better sleep. This is an easy fix for Wyndham as we have stayed at this brand multiple times at different locations and this is not standard.

Service and staff were excellent, the property is a well-used, and lots of furniture has scratches, wear marks, and is a bit worn. This hotel is across from Mass General, so expect ambulance sirens periodically. Very convenient location.
