The staff was super kind!! we had to wait until the desk person was back from lunch to check in. Thankfully, the couches in the lobby are comfortable. The lobby is absolutely beautiful! And when we got to our room first appearance is OK. But looking at the mattress is a different story: they are still using old spring mattresses complete with sweat stains. The floor was so dirty that I made my feet black just walking through the room in the first 10 minutes. The shower has zero hot water. The bathroom sink had hot water, but it was hooked up backwards. We tried to shower again in the morning and there was still no hot water. The coffee for the coffee maker in the room is definitely better than the coffee in the lobby. It seems that they’ve done a lot of updating, but they’re forgetting some of the important stuff in the rooms. I’ve seen cleaner mattresses at Motel 6.

Looks are very deceiving in the pictures. The checkin area is nice but the hotel and rooms are ghetto. Also very basic breakfast just bagels muffins or waffles. It was okay, the location is great.

Staff was friendly. I booked room from Tuesday to Saturday, I called Expedia to cancel my reservation on Wednesday to Saturday, it was horrible once I opened the door, room smelled clean but room look so bad two chairs in the room were discussing dirty. The mini fridge was in the bathroom I saw roaches. Do not stay there.

We've stayed here in the past and loved our rooms and the location, but this last trip definitely is making me think ywice about staying here again. Our room had the attempt of being clean, but there was evidence that it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. There were pieces of food under the bed and next to the night stand (half of a big cookie and cereal). The room had roaches we had to chase down every morning. The floor tiles were poorly laid leaving gaping dirty cracks. The cracks around the door were huge and since everyone was smoking just outside their doors our room constantly smelled like pot or tobacco. The noise from our partying neighbors had no buffer either. The AC worked great but smelled like mold and mildew, Good thing we brought room spray. We never had hot water, ever, and by our last day we were treated to ice cold showers before checking out. When I tried to bring up my concerns with the front desk, they were ready with their excuses and "apologies" but I could tell she really didn't care. Probably hears the complaints all the time. If we'd had more time, we would've requested a new room but our busy trip did not leave us with time to argue with the front desk and move to a new room. Had we known right away about our roach friends, cold water and inconsiderate loud, smokey neighbors then we would've switched rooms right away. It's a shame a hotel we liked and was so close to Knott's Berry Farm showed us that only part of their hotel is decent.
