Check-in was friendly, quick and easy. Room was freezing when we arrived-(16 degrees) and because it was so cold outside it took over an hour to warm up. Your mayor had declared a “ state of emergency “ in the afternoon because of the storm so it would have been better if our room had been warm. There were only two towels provided and coffee supplies for two as well even though we were a party of four in our booking. Room was lovely, very large and beds were comfy.

Don’t ever book this place, in morning I tried to take a shower and water was cold as hell, hot water wasn’t coming. After calling the front desk they said maintenance can be done only after 10AM, I thought the receptionist could’ve offered me alternative room. Never ever book this place.

We were in town for a Sabres game and our room was perfect - clean, comfortable, roomy and close enough to walk to the rink and take in some sights. The breakfast and the breakfast area were also really nice.

Four star hotel

The hotel was good, not excellent. Like ld that it had parking, but it cost $20 to park which seems totally outrageous. I could have parked in a garage for cheaper. The beds were okay, but not comfortable. Location was great, had access to everything we wanted to visit. Thats why I gave it a four star.

We don't often travel over the winter holidays, but a family gathering brought us here. We had stayed at the hotel before and were thoroughly satisfied. This time, things could have been better. Check-in was wonderful and parking was excellent. Breakfast couldn't have been better. But, when 2:30 pm came and there were no new linens and a major event to go to in 90 minutes, we were more than concerned. We had already let the front desk know; the housekeeping line having been busy. We were told they had until 6:00 pm and were down one machine. We didn't want them coming in when we were trying to dress for the occasion. So, we ended up going down and getting the linens ourselves. We left about 4:00 and things were put in order on our return, but the stress was a concern. The following morning, while looking for an earring, I saw a water bottle, wad of gum and other such treasures that we didn't use or bring. Obviously, they were leftovers from previous visitors. That was a surprise. People were wonderful from security to the front desk.

Staff was friendly and informative of the city, room was spacious and comfortable. We had an easy time walking to all of our destinations around town. The keycards were unresponsive at times and the elevators were not very stable.
