This room is located on the third floor at Hotel Bucaneros, is equipped with a private bedroom with a Queen Size Bed, outside the bedroom there's a living area with a sofa-bed, that can be converted to a full bed if requested with all necessary blankets, sheets and pillows. There's also a fully equipped kitchen, cooking utensils, dishes, plates, cups, bowls, silverware, etc.. and a mini-fridge.

ThereÂŽs also a 32" LED TV with cable signal, air conditioning only inside the private bedroom, safe deposit box, hair dryer, WiFi and private bathroom with shower.

The room is also equipped with a balcony facing main pedestrian street (Hidalgo Ave.) and large sliding windows with a nice panoramic view of dowtown.

The HOTEL is equipped with two lobbys, a ground floor terrace, a breakfast room offering Daily Delicious Continental Breakfast from 7:30 am to 11:00 am that includes: fresh fruit plate, toast, pastries and sweet breads, cereals, natural yoghurt, granola, american coffee, a large variety of organic teas, fresh fruit shakes, marmalade, butter, peanut butter, nutella and philadelphia cream cheese.

We stayed this past week for 3 nights and it was great. Perfect location! Right on Hidalgo for easy breakfast/dinner/bars. Short, easy walk to beach. Music is typically done by 11pm and even if we were in room before 11pm, the music/noise was no problem at all!

Our Second visit to Hotel Bucaneros. Everyone at Hotel Bucaneros were great to deal with. It’s above a great restaurant with great food. Close walking distance to restaurants, and the beech. We would have no problem staying there again. Sid&Susan Bailey

Immaculately clean, excellent location, but quite basic.We thought breakfast was included with our room, but apparently it was not. There was evidence of a space that used to be used for breakfast, but it is unused now. There also wasn't any place to park a golf cart due to some renovations they have underway.Would have been nice to have better communication about breakfast up front. Not a huge deal as there are many great places to grab some food within a stone's throw.

In a very convenient part of isla. You’re close to both playa Norte and playa centro. Multiple restaurants immediately outside the hotel. Has a cute little kitchen area. I never used it but it was nice knowing it was available. It’s on the third floor but I enjoy walking a ton so that wasn’t a problem. The room has AC which comes in clutch to take a break midday bc it goes her very hot and humid. I enjoyed my stay

Room was very nice and clean. No elevator and room on 3rd floor. Only had air conditioner in bedroom so kitchen and dining area was very hot. No amenities like coffee but had coffee pot. Very noisy at night but restaurants market and beach nearby. Very friendly staff.

The property is at a great location on Hidalgo in the heart of the restaurant/bar and shopping area. Quick and easy walk to several beach clubs on Playa Norte (Canabar and Green Demon are good). Though the street is busy during the evening hours, it quiets quickly after 10:00 PM. The junior suite was as described and had everything we needed. Not modern or fancy but clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only two issues: as mentioned in other reviews, the steps are a bit difficult to climb to the third floor with luggage. Also, the toilet doesn’t flush well and actually clogged. Overall a nice place if you’re looking for a more authentic and inexpensive stay.

We loved our room.

We would like to stay here again. The room was super cute with everything that we needed. We cooked breakfast and lunch each day in the sweet little kitchenette. It was nice looking out over the rooftops and watching the street action from above. It was great to have air conditioning at night. We really liked some of the hotel staff too.There were really only a few things that weren't perfect, the toilet did not flush well, but I think that's pretty normal for the area. Also, we did not know about the island's environmental tax so that was an unpleasant surprise upon arrival, but we confirmed it had to be paid. Also, there were some huge rain storms and some rain leaked through the roof into the living room/kitchen area. However, it all dried out super quickly so that was okay too.

Amazing accommodations

The hotel is very clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The location is amazing. You are located right in the heart of everything on the island. Just by walking out the front doors you have access to shopping, restaurants, and bars of all kinds. It’s a short walk from the ferry and beaches. We could not have hoped for a better location. It was very nice to have water stations on every floor so that we could refill water bottles.as well. 100% would recommend and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Isla Mujeres - Bucaneros Hotel

This traditional Mexican hotel is located in the perfect downtown location. It’s also within walking distance of the ferry terminal. The main “pedestrian only” street is at your doorstep and is filled with restaurants, bars, street vendors, etc. The noise level at night is generally good, so you can get a cool nights sleep, in the very comfortable bed. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The popular Playa Norte beach is a 8 min walk from the hotel and the Super aki grocery market is just two short blocks away. Beach towels are available at the front desk and require a 200 peso returnable deposit after use. If you’re looking for a super clean and affordable condo, this location would be a great choice for you. Gracias!

Limpio y Bonito

Es la segunda vez que nos quedamos en el Hotel Bucanero y seguiremos reservado ahĂ­ mismo. Muy bonito y limpio. L@s host/servicio super amables. Hotel queda en el mero centro de todo. A solo unas cuadras caminando estĂĄ la playa. Muchos restaurantes. Espero muy pronto visitar Isla Mujeres.

Cute place!

Cute place and convenient. Very accommodating and I really liked that there was water and a pitcher available to stay hydrated. I was traveling solo and felt very safe.
