Why stay in a hotel when you can have a whole condo? The open floor plan of this downtown condo—with skylights and hickory floors—includes a cozy dining area and a living room with comfortable leather sofas, a flat screen TV and one of two gas fireplaces. And when you’re not taking advantage of the fine dining Carmel is known for, the kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless appliances. The master suite has a King bed, a fireplace, and a private bath with a large tub and a steam shower. The second guest room has a Queen bed, and the second bath, located in the hall, has a walk-in shower. Elevator access. Single garage (fits one small/medium car only) in the Carmel Realty lot on Junipero (1/2 block away). Wonderful location for Carmel Plaza and Ocean Avenue shopping and dinug. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. The offered garage was specified for use by smaller cars, but appeared to only be suitable for Minis and Smartcars.

Perfection!

Banyan really is in the perfect spot. It is an upscale, well stocked condo. While it is in the downtown area, it is very quiet and comfortable. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby, and a market across the street. We plan to come back soon!

Great location!

We loved the location of this home in Carmel. We stored the car and never used it again. Rented e-bikes and rode up to Cannary Road for lunch via the coastal road. A must do!

Well appointed condo!

The condo was spacious and clean. Lots of windows so the light was lovely. Nice location with a lovely Lebanese/Greek restaurant across the road on Junapero. I would recommend it.

Great property!

Banyan unit is wonderful. It was an easy walk to all the shops and restuarants in Carmel. No issues with parking on the street as we had a large SUV. We will rent again!

Local Luxury

Carmel-by-the-Sea complete immersion. We left the car in the garage over our entire stay. Uber is easy if you prefer to go further afield. One could easily live here fulltime. Beautiful as it is cozy...cannot wait to return.

The condo was excellent. Clean and perfect for 4 people. Easy communication with the host. It was perfect location to walk to everything in Carmel. The parking garage was a bonus for in town. Would definitely stay at Banyan again.

Christmas in Carmel

This condo was as described, communication with the property manager was prompt and check in was so easy. The location was excellent for walking to shops, restaurants and the beach. (Walking to/from the beach may be a challenge for those with mobility issues as it is a rather steep hill however there is parking at the end of Ocean.) The garage around the corner was convenient. Our rental was a Jeep 4x4 and we had no problems. It is a small space so allowing passengers out of the car before parking is advised. We would consider this rental again in the future.
