We checked in on a Tuesday as we walked into the room it appeared “clean” but the floor felt damp the whole time we were there so we wore our crocs all the time. There was no blanket on our bed. Only a sheet and very thin top cover. Pillows were not supportive. Bed was rock hard and caused sore hips for both me and my husband. We asked for a blanket and never got one. We asked for more towels and never got them, I guess that’s ok because on Friday there was no hot water and then no water at all. There was construction debris (screws, metal plates, broken trim off the building) strewn about the property so we watched where we were walking at all times. Saturday we went into the city and didn’t find it as dirty as this property. Returned back to our room late Saturday and our room key didn’t work so we had to walk to the office for a new one and the front desk girl was zero personality, no “sorry about that” or anything. We also noticed people loitering about the parking areas drinking and smoking but at least they were quiet even though they left empty beer cans on cars and the ground. It’s close to the airport but the planes overhead never bothered me. I would NEVER recommend anyone stay here. Spend a little extra for a friendly, clean place. Motel 6 might leave the light on for you but not the hot water. This place felt like a big middle finger to its guests. And they were sold out of rooms if you can believe it.

They never gave me back my $50 deposit when they clearly stated I would get it back after 2 days and it’s been almost a week.

I hate to give the property a bad review, as the room was fine and very clean. The problem was noise. The air conditioner was quite noisy, but that I could get used to. More importantly, the property is located directly under the flight path to Chicago's O'Hare Airport. Twice during the night I was awakened by what sounded like a jet coming through my window. I understand that there's nothing the property can do about this, but if you are staying here it's definitely a good idea to bring earplugs, but I am unsure how much they would help.

The rooms we had had mold in them. It also had hair and stuff on the sheets and the Bathroom had mold in the tube in around the tube when I booked it, I booked it to have A refrigerator in the room and a microwave, and neither was applied so this hotel was awful

The staff was excellent, in particular Gladys, who went out of her way to be helpful. The one complaint I have is that I was first assigned a room without a working TV. Gladys moved me the following day to a good room. Since I reserved over 2 months ago, I feel I should have been the first to receive an updated room with working TV. I shouldn't have had to complain to get good working room.

Entire second floor is condemned, entire first floor under construction. Noise from construction lasts all day, and it's right outside your door. At times, construction prevents guests from safely entering/exiting the rooms. Should be illegal to rent rooms under these conditions.

I was called about 2 hours before getting to my destination stating my reservation could not be honored due to not passing inspection and did not have an occupancy so sent me to a sister hotel which the bed felt like sleeping on a box spring and I received no discount for the inconvenience. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Tags everywhere saying "Unfit for human occupancy". Old and outdated amenities, AC unit was filthy and old, and bathroom was questionable. Immediate regret when I walked in the room, and if it weren't for me being deathly tired and the limited room availability elsewhere, I would have gone to a different hotel in a heartbeat.
