The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minutes walk from the Oresund Metro station, which is about 4 stops from the airport and similar from the central area of Copenhagen. It is also a short walk from the Amager beach area (where for me at least) they have a Saturday Parkrun. There are also nearby supermarkets at reasonable prices; Lidl and Rema 1000.
We arrived early and although there is a luggage storage facility we were lucky enough because our room was already available.
There are rooms with a kitchenette but we had booked a Superior on the 4th floor which included a balcony with table and chairs but no cooking facilities apart from a kettle. For those like us who prefer to open a window there are none but you can leave the balcony door ajar, although with the wind this kept banging so I would suggest bringing along one of those rubber door wedges.
There is a nice roof area but views are a bit limited now due to quite a few newish apartments nearby although you can see the Oresund bridge. There was a sign up there indicating you could order 6 beers or a bottle of wine at a reasonable (for Denmark) price.
Limited staff contact was friendly and helpful and the hotel was kept clean. We didn't partake of breakfast which appeared to be of a typical continental type.
Well worth the price paid, considering how easy it is to reach the city centre by public transport compared to the cost of city centre hotels here.
