Location is awesome, check in was quick and easy. Very noisy, they were doing road construction right on the street below my room all night long, it was super noisy and I couldn’t sleep with the window closed as it was too hot, but even with the window closed it was very noisy. Breakfast was ok

The hotel dates back to 1930s and they have tried to keep it true to its age. It’s in a central location next to the train station so it is noisy. We definitely needed ear plugs as you could hear the trains. Limited interaction with staff but they were friendly. Breakfast was good with choices that satisfied both myself and my husband.

Perfect for me

Don’t stay here if you want impersonal and sterile: do stay here if you live authenticity and history. My little room was perfect for me: shower and products were good. Breakfast was generous with lots of choice. Location was perfect for station, buses and so much within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would happily return.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very historic, one of the first luxury hotels in Denmark. Within a 5 minutes walk of the central train station. Breakfast is varied and delightful.

Hotel near Main Train Station and Tivoli.

Great location near main train station and Tivoli. Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Go easy on the salt in the scrambled eggs, though. Clean and orderly. Some noise from trains, but that should be expected. We didn’t have a floor mat for the bathroom. Only a half shower door, so floor got pretty wet. We had to use a towel to dry it out. Overall a very nice experience and highly enjoyable.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel right next door to railway station for easy access to airport. All day complementary tea, coffee and croissants in foyer. Excellent buffet breakfast included. Hotel has it’s own bike rental for getting around the city.

We absolutely loved Astoria! It was great all round and we particularly loved its history, its art deco feel and we really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. We will definitely stay there when we visit Copenhagen again

Historical hotel with technical/Managment problems

I received Room 104 with broken heater/radiator. Room was changed only on the 2nd night. Room 104 was above train line - very noisy and floor/walls vibrated. Room 104 doesn’t had blackout curtains. Management ignored communication massages on Hotels.com Management refused compensation.

Ideal location, right next to the central train station and was not too noisy despite this. Good breakfast options, staff were welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend to stay at Hotel Astoria!
