Great amenities, but just ok room

Steel House offered various amenities which were nice. There was a game room, movie theater, bar, pool, etc. The rooms left a little to be desired. You did receive a bath towel included with your stay, no hand towel. The main issue was when you went to take a shower the automatic light in the bathroom would turn off and you would have to open the shower doors to wave your hand to make the light turn on (every 2-3 minutes) which was obnoxious and really inconvenient. Also the lockers for your stuff didn’t lock properly so even if you had a lock on it, someone could still turn it and get in.

This is a great hostel. Rooms are cleaned everyday and that’s why the bathroom is nice and clean. I stayed at a room for 4 guests and it had it’s own bathroom. An easy walk to the central train station of Copenhagen and also Tivoli Park and the main square. The atmosphere at the cafeteria is very vibrant. A nice place to stay in Copenhagen if you’re on a budget.

We loved staying at the Steel House! We booked a private room for four people. It was small, but had what we needed. The bar downstairs is lots of fun to hang out at, and the kitchen facility is great! We also loved renting bikes for the day from the hostel - pretty good price too. Great area and easy to get to popular sites in the city as transit is nearby. We didn't pay for any of the amenities other than bikes and kitchen, but there is a pool, gym, etc. that you can pay to use. Great vibes overall!

Overnight transit. Myabe it's the weekend, very noisy outside, loud music until 2 or 3am. Everthung has a fee: bag storage, amenities, breakfast.

Ideal location. Great staff and amenities.

A buzzing, modern hostel, with an efficient, helpful staff, and good facilities, serving a wide range of guests. Ideally situated for the city centre attractions and transport links, but in a quiet area next to one of the lakes. A number of fun activities offered for those without their own plans. My bunk was ok, but my own bed is more comfy!! I did ask for my bedding not to be changed on the standard 4th day (ie after 3 nights), as I happened to be present when it was about to be done - I only had 1 more night and prefer to save some unnecessary washing! I would definitely stay again if in Copenhagen.

We had a very comfortable stay in Steel House, it felt more like a hotel than a hostel, and the location was fantastic to be right in the middle of life in Copenhagen. Friendly staff, good facilities (although you pay extra for all of these), but we would return if staying in Copenhagen again.
