My wife and I had a great eight days @ the Best Western Newport-Mesa. Room was cleaned beautifully. I'd like to mention Kelly, front desk, Omar, front desk too and Gerry in the complimentary breakfast cafe. Actually all the employees were very conscientious. When back in LA.....we will be back. Thanks Vince & Lori.

I liked that the room was clean , no bad odors and there was plenty of clean towels . No trouble finding parking either. I didn’t like that bananas was the only fresh fruit available for breakfast. The cook for breakfast needs to cook with a lot more love potatoes we’re burnt and eggs had no flavor . The pool was so dirty and smelly that we couldn’t go in . We chose this location for the pool option and we’re extremely disappointed at how dirty it was .

We are very sorry to hear about the pool, the cleaning crew working hard to make sure the pool is clean. they have been scheduled every night to clean the pool at night and make it available in the daytime but due to hot weather the pool is always busy in the daytime from cleaning. This hotel is very considerate in floor plan design. There’s a rest area in each floor such as a living area in the 2nd floor and a large patio for dining in the 3rd floor. The breakfast was very delicious. We all enjoyed it!
