Worst Hotel Stay Ever

After checking in, the TV appeared to not work. Immediately reported to the front desk, and was told that nothing could be done until the next morning. Checked at the front desk the following morning, and was told it was first on the list of items for maintenance. At 1:30pm, maintenance eventually came to the room. The one man move a cord on the back, actually the sensor that detects the signal from the remote, and said that the TV was working. AS SET UP, it was not, and this person continued to argue with me. Very unprofessional and not helpful. Why could we not have been told about the sensor sooner? Almost a full day there without TV. On checkout, the manager was not behind the counter to print a receipt for us. Bathroom showed signs of dirt in the tub. Worst hotel experience ever. Terrible customer service.

I chose this hotel because of the price and proximity to Greenfield Village. Good value for the money. The room had a bit of an old look and it took a minute to get used to the extra power outlets being only on the desk. But it was clean and had a nice bathroom. Right neat I-275 and all the suburban shopping amenities you could want, or groceries, if you want to be healthy.

The customer service at this location could have been better. The staff was not friendly or courteous, but not rude. Their English speaking capabilities were not the greatest. Keys to the room rarely worked. The lobby did not have AC, no USB port in room.

I will honestly never stay here again. It was dirty, smelly, air conditioner did not work properly (on one of the hottest days). I wish I could have canceled and book else where. I will never book without reading reviews going forward. Lesson learned. Must add they look to “upsell” everything. Charged me extra because I arrived a little early.
