Although expensive, we splurged on a room with a balcony, fire place, and hot tub. It was so quiet and comfy. We enjoyed the wrap around balcony with the view of Lake Superior and the light house. If you would like to be located in Canal Park this was the best place to stay. The free breakfast was very tasty with plenty of warm food with make your own waffles. There were continental breakfast options as well. Great place and friendly staff. We will stay again. It was a great hotel for our first ever visit to Duluth.

124 is the room from hell

We were stuck with room 124. Don't ever stay in this the room. The environmental and ambient noise from the hallway, breakfast area, and floor above is insane. If you're a light sleeper, good luck.

The room was perfect. The view was beautiful. We went for a walk and went to the bridge and the lighthouse. We went shopping. We swam in the pool. The facilities were clean. Breakfast was perfect with lots of variety. It was a great vacation.

Hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. Their breakfast was pretty tasty my kids liked that. I only gave it 4 star's since we had to ask for more towels since we only has 3 when we got there and i thought the room was a little small but otherwise it was a nice area and we had a Lakeview view. I think i would stay there again since it was walkable to all the little shops and the aquarium and the big boat we toured and some restaurants etc.
