Was a little scary outside. Drug addicts and riff raff by the hotel. Otherwise it was an excellent experience at this hotel. Nice and clean amazing room features. Will definitely come back

It’s a 10 minute walk from the Canal if you cut across the boat area. Easy to walk to everything, and an absolutely beautiful hotel with gorgeous views! I don’t actually expect it to look like the picture when we checked in, because it’s so affordable but it was exactly what it showed and more! Full set of dishes and utensils. Beautiful room, full kitchen, everything is completely remodeled! Was stunning and wonderful!

It was a very cool very clean, spacious room, and the stocked kitchen (plates, silverware, cookware etc.) was great. The location was very convenient and close to lots of restaurants, and activities. The views even from our city view room were gorgeous, I imagine the lakeview rooms were even more spectacular. The cons: a lot of little things that i would attribute to the fact that they very recently opened. There were basically zero amenities. No soap in the bathroom (except the shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower), no shelf or even hook in the shower to set a washcloth, razor or anything on, and no phone or any means of contacting the front desk from the room. The nightstands were a foot shorter than the bed and it would have been nice if the TV had streaming capabilities. There was also no parking but there was a public ramp right next door that costs $7 every entry. All this to say, I enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place but they still have some kinks to work out which i am sure they will!

Great new gem in Duluth!

I stayed here with my mom in the Superior Suite (1 Queen Bed with Sofa Bed, City View) and it was fantastic! The suite had two separate bedrooms (one with the queen, one with the sofa bed), two full bathrooms, and a spacious living area with a comfortable couch and a kitchen. Everything felt brand new and well thought-out. The Aveda toiletries were a nice luxury touch. The hotel itself just opened recently, and it shows in the fresh, modern feel of the space. We really enjoyed our room and would absolutely stay again for the accommodations alone. A couple of things to note: the location is downtown Duluth, so it’s not as touristy as Canal Park. There were more unhoused individuals in the area than you’d see near the lake, and there aren’t a ton of restaurants or shops immediately nearby (though we did grab pizza from the bowling alley close by, and it was great!). Also, parking wasn’t included—it was $24 for our one-night stay. Overall, the room itself was incredible and made for a really comfortable stay.
