Great Locale & Residence

The apartment is as listed with plenty of space for a family of four. The appliances were like new and served us well. Great overall location to explore Edinburgh or just hang out. The key pickup/ drop off was a little different than I’ve been accustomed to but if planned out appropriately not an issue. Overall wonderful stay and we would return.

Great location with a few things to know

Great location for sure. Clean and spacious accommodations. Couple of things to note that others have stated: you have to pickup the key from a hotel 3 blocks away. the spiral stairs up to the apartments are no joke. Suitcases were a challenge for us. The bar noise isn’t that bad, but the street noise was very noticeable. There was also a lot of cigarette smoke from other apartments, bar, street that lofted up the stairs/windows. Overall we enjoyed our stay since we were only there for brief periods of times.

Central location & great apartment

Overall a beautiful apartment. Very spacious and clean. The location is very centrally situated in the Old Town area. The only negative feedback is the entrance to the building which was filthy with rubbish and mail. Not a great first impression and the internet connection was poor.

Absolutely FABULOUS rental in perfect location

We absolutely loved staying in this rental. Easy walk to everything we wanted to do. The apt was spacious, clean and we loved the location. Beds were very comfortable. Other reviews talk about noise, however we didn't notice - it was truly awesome location with new bathrooms and kitchen. Highly recommend! Two things worth noting: 1) the washer / dryer will take 4.5 hours (YES) per very small load. Even then your wash will not dry completely. Be sure to google how to use as the instructions are not clear. The #1 setting is what to use. 2) the door knob came off in the twin bedroom and our daughter was locked in with no way out if we were not there to open. Note: we were in Edinburgh 4th of July week which was super busy, so be sure to make restaurant and castle reservations in advance.

Beautiful,very noisy,

Property is beautiful and clean. The master bedroom is unbelievably noisy and bright. It’s like daytime all the time. We were 4 adults and we only had one key that works the downstairs door. It’s was a pain in the ass because one person in our group had classes everyday and came home for lunch. That meant we had to be there with the key to let her in. We on more then one occasion requested a second key. We were told. That they had to authorize it with the owner, so needless to say we were there a week and no second key.

Great Flat & Location.

Overall, this was a great choice for us. However, when we arrived, the boiler was offline (no heat or hot water). Techs were dispatched promptly the next morning and found gas line condensate trap was clogged up. This is a normal PM item on these units. Better maintenance and pre-stay prep (e.g verify boiler is running prior to guest arrival) could have spared us the inconvenience.

Perfect location

Fabulous flat, a bit noisy but that’s unavoidable with such a central location. Oddly deficient in some equipment eg no coffee or teapot, only two wine glasses (but two champagne flutes as well) no baking tray, collander etc etc. But on balance I think we’d stay here again.

What a beautiful apartment in a central location. The place is immaculate and all finished to the highest standard. Would definitely return there.
