We stayed in Palazzo Branchi for 3 nights. Location was excellent, about 15 minutes walking distance from the Santa Maria Novella train station. It was also close enough to the historic center. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything was clean. The shower was very good. The room was spacious. Communication with the management was good. There was a tiny kitchenette which was a nice option to have; nothing to prepare Michelin meals but nice nonetheless. Only negative points were: the level of noise was extremely high so be prepared to put some earplugs. Also, the fact there was no desk or table to put a laptop on was a bit unexpected and felt a bit like a shortcoming. Neutral observation: the room did not look at all like the one shown on the pictures of the listing we booked. Overall we appreciated our stay despite the very disturbing noise we experienced.

What a great place to stay. Mariella and Vitoria were nice and friendly during checkin and checkout. The building is all renovated, clean, quiet and offered all comfort we needed. We'll be back!

Florence Fair

This is a fair distance from Florence City Centre, so be prepared to walk and/or bus/tram/etc. Shower head was so bad it needs replacing. Everything else was fine, just the shower was a bit run down. Feels dated, but still comfortable. Can get noisy outside as there's an Irish pub.

Cute apartment in quiet area

Very easy to get to from the Florence train station. Quiet area but easy walk to the main areas with the duomo and restaurants. The room was very spacious and pretty. It had everything you would need for a longer stay with a tiny kitchenette.

Great place to stay. The host was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and check in and out was easy. This hotel is in the restricted traffic area of Florence so if you’re driving stay somewhere outside this area.

This property was in a great location for us. Walkable to all the major areas and on the edge of the busier tourist area. Check in went smoothly, even though our arrival was delayed by hours by airline. Host was in contact and greeted us upon arrival after 10pm. Our apartment was spacious and clean, very comfortable for our 2 week stay. Staff was absent most of the time so very little interaction with them. An unfortunate incident for us was that we returned after dinner having been away all day to find our door was wide open, with dirty towels and the trash just outside our door. We immediately called the hosts, who brought us clean towels. Their response to this was that the cleaner must have forgotten. Said everything was safe in the building, they were around most of the time. We were appalled at their lack of concern. Thankfully all our belongings were still there but it could have been a disaster.

We loved our stay at Palazol Branchi & would highly recommend. However, we did find our pillows uncomfortable & found we couldn’t get the right temperature in our room (always ran on the warmer side).
