Room Mate Luca is an amazing place! Would highly recommend! Only a 10 minute walk to the center and/or the Duomo. Room was very cozy and clean and well set up. Breakfast was outstanding every morning. Most of all the staff at the front desk were very very helpful, personable and incredible! Augusto, Alexandra and Mudi thank you again for the unforgettable stay! We will be back soon!

Solid hotel. Rooms are impossibly small, though perhaps that's the case with most/all hotels in Florence. If you are claustrophobic, this may not be the best option for you; pay attention to listed square footage of room. The fact that there is a laundromat right next door is convenient!

The hotel was good, located in a quiet area and walkable to Florence center. The breakfast was good, the room was the smallest room I have ever been in, pretty much the size of the bed. Overall, a viable option.

The hotel is clean and breakfast is decent. That’s about it. Rooms are the smallest that I have ever stayed in. We were 3 people in a room made for 1. No room for luggage. The water pressure in the shower was inexistant. The elevator was not working during our stay which was not ideal when we left with 5 luggages to transport down the stairs.

My husband and I stayed at Room Mate Luca for 2 nights and it was lovely. The breakfast included was a nice treat. I deducted a star because the shower situation was a bit odd as the water was leaking all over the bathroom floor but aside from that I’d recommend this hotel!

Terrible service and poor attitude from staff. Locked out of our rooms due to key card issues and took extremely long to fix the issue. Fire alarms kept going off daily. Clean spacious rooms but that was the only good point. Not the type of stay expected from this calibre of hotel.

I thought the bare bones of a v good hotel was there, but there were some things that I think could be worked on. Nevertheless I had a nice time and my stay was comfortable. Thoughts on improvements: - the breakfast was dull - average coffee, basic fruit and basic pastries (amongst other things), but more effort here would really help - the air con wasn’t perfect - granted it was hot - the lighting is off - it was SO dark in the halls, and even at times in the room as there were only lights on the walls, not the ceiling - I thought it was v v odd that there was no access to water in the rooms - no place to fill a bottle (esp in the heat - I wasted SO much plastic buying bottles) and glass bottles weren’t refilled in the day with room service.

This hotel was very clean and perfectly located to walk to everything in Florence. The staff were very polite and our room was ready early, which was an added bonus. They offer water and beverages in the lobby upon arrival. The bathroom is very modern. There were many complimentary goodies in our room (lots of toiletries, water, and even a bottle of wine). I'd definitely stay here again.

Absolutely what you can expect in a tourist trap like Florence, small rooms, not very well ventilated (light weird odor), dark corridors, only thing that saved the property was the good attitude and service of the staff. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel and you should really consider this when booking.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in years. From the time of booking the reception was very responsive, responded to all my questions about our stay in Florence and were just as friendly on our arrival. The room was extremely comfortable and modern. We loved that breakfast was until 12pm each day. Even though the breakfast room was extremely busy, the staff went above and beyond to replenish food, bring me gluten free breakfast items and were just all around delightful. We practically liked that each day housekeeping left us amazing chocolates and bottled water. The front desk was accommodating and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location - away from the busy center but only a short walk to all the amazing sites in Florence. Highly recommend this hotel for any stay in Florence! Thank you for making our stay so nice.
