Overall, we were very happy with the flat. It has a spacious living area, a kitchen and three bedrooms with double/queen size beds. It is located on a busy street where people seem to stay out late and talk loudly while drinking. The only real issue we had, though, is that the host was pretty much non-existent. They did not meet as the flat, which is a requirement in Italy (or so I have heard). I tried messaging multiple times through both the VRBO app and email, but received just one response. It was very difficult to find the washer, which ended up being in small room off the courtyard. We also ran out of toilet paper and had to buy some on our own. There are mini-split AC units in the flat, but there weren't any remote controls to work them. These were all easy issue that a host should have shown us in-person at the property. As much as I liked the place, I cannot recommend it because the host is non-responsive. Take this review for what you will, but if you visit Florence in the late spring or summer you will need to know about hose AC units and perhaps even get access to the remote controls.
