In need of updates and deep cleaning
Reasonable price in amazing location should be your first hint that this place needs serious work. The pictures paint a rosier picture than what you’ll find when you arrive. Looks like there has been little done since this place was in its prime. And make no mistake it is a motel/Inn, not a hotel. Nonfunctional light switches and burnt out bulbs abound. Housekeeping efforts seem to target surface dirt, a deeper look confirms no real deep cleaning ever occurs. Customarily, upon arrival at any place I stay, I complete a bed bug inspection. Happy to report none were found. But I did find a previous renters chicken nuggets tucked in along the mattress. Along with a significant amount of long accumulating dirt & debris. If you can afford better, you would be well served to spend the extra.

This hotel SHOULD NOT BE ON EXPEDIA UNTIL THEY CLEAN THE ROOMS PROPERLY. It's disgusting dirty, towels have stains on them if you get them, No room service, bugs, old look and old feel. I don't care for luxury or beauty but dam clean the rooms with clorox windex anything, the kitchen is unusable. The bathrooms are Brooke beat down need to wait 20 minutes between flushes so forget about courtesy flush. Basically DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO ITCH ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Horrible hotel and experience. Very dirty, run down, parking was terrible. The rooms smelled, shower pressure was a joke, and the beds were terribly uncomfortable. Front desk associates were not helpful, rude, and never available. Do not waste your money, there are other hotels in the area that are better

I wasn't even able to check in. And I'm being charged for this room and left without a place to stay at 1am. No one is available in the office. Says a sight manager is easily accessible by dialing a number. Not true. Now I'm out over $100 scrambling to find somewhere else to stay. Don't do it!

This property should be ranked a 1/10. The room was terrible, the beds were terrible, the towels were from the dollar store, patching of the walls was terrible.. There was roaches in the room, the ac didn’t work and the room was wet from the humidity. The only part of the hotel description that was accurate was the pool. Too bad it was too cold outside to use the pool. I will never make this mistake again. I am also extremely disappointed with Expedia and their reviews of this property. I should be given a full refund, and my back will probably hurt for the next few weeks because of the beds in this place.

If you bring the right attitude and expectations you should have an enjoyable stay here. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and the pool area is very pleasant, with a well heated pool surrounded by greenery and sunbeds. Oldies played on the radio lessen the impact of the traffic noise from the neighbouring A1A. The public beach at Lauderdale by the Sea is a 10 minute walk away. I challenge the critics to find another place in this area for a similar price which also has free parking. Staff and fellow guests were friendly and there were enough positives that i would return. The negatives were the iffy electrics, the kitchen could be better equipped and housekeeping never showed up earlier than 4.30p.m. However, these were minor issues compared to the positives.
