This is a no frills hotel, asides that it had a pool and a restaurant that are both nice. No daily cleaning service, only one working elevator, and most ice machines didn’t work. If you need a place to stay for a night, it will do the trick.

I paid for both my reservations since May and I was charged for one of my rooms a second time I was told day after day it will be refunded and I am yet to receive the refund. Upon arrival the room was very slippery . The floor was so slippery I fell pretty much prior to my arrival I request both from to be on the same floor they weren’t when we arrived . The staff is help but I will never book with this Sonder location ever again . The bed was horrible the refrigerator doesn’t cool no microwave the trash can sooo small could barely fit anything and after 3 days we asked them to clean the room and I was told it would be $20.00 that’s sooo crazy. And you don’t offer the bare minimum I’ve been to better La Quinta’s and that says a lot

Check in is at 4 upon arrival there were a lot of guests ready to check in only to be told the rooms were still not ready and would be past the check in time. We did not receive our room until late and the room was still dirty. The floor was wet and towels looked like they had been used and the toilet would shoot up water when flushed. I noticed on my card a couple hours later I had the charge I agreed to pay through Expedia and another nearly 400$ in charges which better drop. When I went to the desk I was told NO MANAGER ON DUTY until Monday this was Saturday. How do you not have a manager on duty at the hotel? The room air conditioning was broke and 75 degrees in the room in Florida heat which is so unacceptable and unsafe.

In person, Customer Service was a challenge

Our biggest barrier was the check-in process. There were two staff members available at 3:30 PM when we arrived who essentially deferred checking everyone in until exactly 4 PM when we could automatically use the elevator/enter the room in via the app instead. Also there wasn’t anybody who responded to the app chat request to check in 30 minutes early. We only stayed one night. Other than the check-in, the room, including the bedding, decor, and the bathroom were really nice. The floor did not look like it was swept or cleaned, however.

Concert stay

Gorgeous hotel, yet impressively poorly run. I tried to check in early, and the man at the reception desk informed me that early check-in wasn’t available—which I understood. However, when the standard check-in time of 4:00 PM arrived, I was told it would be just five more minutes. Ten minutes later, I was told it would be another 45 minutes. I was even told I could cancel if I wanted. This is utterly unacceptable. We ended up missing the opening acts of a concert we paid over $1,200 to attend. When we returned to the hotel at 1:30 AM, I was still unable to get into the room. When we finally got in, the air conditioning was broken. Not at all what I’d expect from a Marriott hotel.
