We had a truly wonderful vacation at the guest house! Even before our arrival, Deb was in touch and answered all of our questions promptly. When we arrived, we were welcomed just as promised—with a personalized sign, bagels and cream cheese, juice, and fresh fruit. The house was exactly as described—cozy, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. We did have a small issue with the AC, but Deb came over right away, even though it was late at night, and made sure a repairman arrived first thing the next morning so we wouldn’t be inconvenienced. Her attentiveness really made a difference.The pool area was amazing—very clean and relaxing. We loved the thoughtful touch of pool towels waiting on the lounge chairs, just like at a hotel. It was quiet and peaceful, and we spent most of our days enjoying it.The only downside was the number of outdoor cameras and the motion detectors inside, which made a sound whenever movement was detected. At night, this was a bit distracting. Overall, though, we had a wonderful and relaxing vacation—the only problem was that we couldn’t stay longer! We would definitely love to return next summer!

Wonderful weekend

We had a wonderful stay! Deb provided very thorough instructions and information about the area, was very responsive, and the house was just lovely. Easy check in and check out, with *no* list of cleaning or other check out requirements. The pool is fantastic, with a great covered patio for those not in the pool. Well supplied kitchen, and plenty of bath towels and toiletries. All in all, one of our favorite stays!

Peace in the foothills

The guest house is amazing. Quiet, well stocked and plent of room. Close to evrything, bht far enough away for solitude. The host was very responsive. We were greated with a bittle of wine, snacks, bagels.

Awesome Place!

This was a great place to stay to getaway and have privacy. The Host was so kind and went out of her way when I was not feeling well. It was extremely clean and you can even use the pool and spa. Simply Fabulous!

This was my 2nd time staying here, And everything was just as perfect as I remembered. Beautiful, clean home, super comfy beds! Spectacular pool and hot tub. And Deb is just the perfect hostess who went above and beyond once again. Love it here!

Great family Vacation in Beautiful Retreat

This is a fancy retreat, the host has decorated this house very elegantly and throughly. The breakfast goodies to start you off is a very nice touch. Deborah is a kind host and very reaponsive. For our family the one bathroom was challenging at times, but the overall space was more than adequate. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped.

Perfect Writer's Retreat

We were in search of a last minute get-away for some intense writing and this was the perfect choice. Quiet, comfortable, welcoming - just what we needed. Be aware that the pool and hot tub are across the driveway behind the main house but do NOT let this put you off. Deb and family were discrete and we hardly knew they were there. I am looking forward to planning a return visit.

Great stay for a wedding

Our family was able to stay together while we attended a wedding of close family friends. We had a leisurely morning by the pool. There was plenty of room and the decor was lovely. The host was exceptionally responsive and the touches of hospitality (wine and cheese; continental breakfast; donuts) made our stay very pleasant! I would stay here again if I had the opportunity!

The property is lovely. The host makes you feel very special. You are welcomed with beautiful fruit and all your breakfast needs. You feel like you have come home to family. Our fall stay here was amazing. Greeted with a variety of refreshments displayed beautifully on the counter. Comfort galore. Bedrooms to die for. We loved the decor and style. Hope that someday we will get back this way and are able to stay longer.

Pool & Hot Tub!!!

It is a beautiful property. We enjoyed being able to use the pool & hot tub! A nice place to just relax for a week! We were welcomed with music, a welcome sign & some nice treats. We used the kitchen to cook most of our meals. We would have loved to have had an open shelf in the pantry to put our non-perishable food on for the week. Instead our food sat on the floor in the boxes and the bags we brought because the pantry, cupboards & island were filled with kitchen items & décor items. Other than that the kitchen worked well. Daily, we enjoyed the coffee & tea area as well as the filter water from the refrigerator door. It is definitely an adults only type of place because of some provocative décor & the many breakable decorations.

Relaxing stay

Thank you for a relaxing stay in Frederick, Maryland! The pool was very relaxing and perfect for hot summer days. The pool was very clean. The check-in process was easy. Deb was so kind to provide groceries for our stay. The house was very close to historic sites, walking trails, restaurants, vineyards, and breweries. Deb was thoughtful and provided everything we may have needed during our stay. We would highly recommend this home!

Beautiful Frederick Home

This was a beautiful home. Beautifully decorated and Deb was an excellent host. It was so clear that she cared we were comfortable in our stay. The pool and pool house were a real plus. My grandson loved the big room upstairs. There were TVs in every bedroom which allowed us to pursue different interests. The kitchen had everything you could want. It was a great place. We also enjoyed downtown Frederick. Thank you Deb for a great stay
