Wide Open Views is a lovely large home on Seneca Lake. With a huge yard and lots of living space, this home is the perfect spot for a large family, large group of friends, or several families to stay and enjoy the lake together!
Wide Open Views is on the east side of Seneca Lake, only a few minutes from Geneva. The house is large and spacious with two full kitchens, one on each level. With almost an acre of yard space, outdoor patios and a hot tub, and over 150' of private lakefront , you'll have plenty of space for a game of tag football, tag with the kids, or playing on the lake and the shoreline. A gorgeous new playset for the kids has been added in 2024...making this the perfect vacation spot for families with kids! Additionally an upper level patio has been added, with a great outdoor lounge space and a salt water hot tub!
From the front door, you will enter the Dining Room with the handcrafted table built from old saurkraut barrels on the homeowners farm. There is plenty of room for everyone to gather here for a sit-down meal. Walking through the Dining Room there is a large Living Room with windows facing out over the lake, a sectional couch and TV for watching the game. Through the Living Room, and also connected to the Dining Room, is the large Farmhouse Kitchen. The kitchen has a peninsula and bar stools to sit at for a snack or for watching the cook make dinner. Standing at the stainless steel farmhouse sink you can look out the large windows and see for miles across the lake. Behind the kitchen you'll find the laundry room and the entry into the garage.
Just off of the Kitchen is a newly built patio area with a salt water hot tub. You'll love soaking in the hot tub while watching the sun set over the water--the views from the hot tub are phenomenal! This patio space also has several glider rockers and a bar top/stools, allowing you to enjoy the hot tub or relax at the bar top with a glass of wine.
Off of the Living Room is the hallway to the main floor bedrooms. The Primary bedroom is to the left and is quite spacious with a King size bed and large windows facing out over the lake. This bedroom also has a crib available, if you have little ones.
The main floor bathroom with a tub/shower is just across the hallway from Bedroom 2. Bedroom 2 has a King size bed as well. Bedroom 3 is next to Bedroom 2 and has 2 Queen size beds. There is an additional sleeping room (set up like a bedroom) in the hallway just off of the Kitchen. This room has a Queen size bed and views of the lake through the large windows.
Descending the steps from the kitchen to the lower level living area, you'll find the large Family Room with doors out onto the outside patio area. The Family room has is beautifully divided into several living spaces: a large second kitchen with huge island and bar seating along with a secondary bar height table for playing card games and indoor shuffle board, and the secondary cozy lounge room with sofas and chairs for watching tv/movies.
The lower level Bedroom is off of the Family Room and has 2 Queen size beds. The lower level full bath is next to the bedroom and has a large walk in shower.
Outside you will not lack for space. There is a huge yard on the back side of the house, by the driveway...wide open space for kids to run or to set up a game of badminton or volleyball. There is a basketball hoop on the driveway as well.
On the lake front there is plenty of private lake shore for getting in the water, sunbathing, or enjoying a fire in the firepit. You can see for literal miles down the lake...this house has some of the most expansive views of Seneca Lake that you will find anywhere on the lake.

Air conditioning provided through central air on the main floor. The basement has a wall unit ac in the main living area
*A limited amount of paper towel, toilet paper, soaps, is provided for each guest.
**We ask that renters to be over the age of 25. By booking you agree with this policy and comply with the request that the renting party is over the age of 25.
**No pets or animals allowed at any time. Anyone found to be in violation, will be asked to leave immediately and/or charged an additional fee
**No parties allowed at any time.

**Guest must comply with maximum occupancy at all tines. NO EXCEPTIONS, (this is a town law that can be enforced by local town code officers). NO MORE THAN 10 PERSONS AT ANY TIME!
**Parking for 5 vehicles ONLY! This is a town law as well and must be obeyed at all times.
**Lake conditions are not guaranteed and are non refundable
**Guests are asked to initial a rental waiver, sent via email, immediately after booking
**DOCK USEAGE:
A dock is provided, you are solely responsible for ensuring docks, and/or mooring facilities are adequate if you decide to bring a boat. Guest assumes all liability for use of the dock and assumes responsibility and liability for damages done to the dock during their stay, whether the damage is done by their watercraft or the guest themselves.
**Seasonal amenities: kayaks and some outdoor furniture are available seasonally and are often available for use from mid-May to October
