Great location! Easy to walk to many things. Room was clean. Staff was friendly at checking in and to help with information on where we wanted to go. Parking was in ramp near the hotel. Rate to park was reduced by us getting a stamp.

Air conditioning was a plus. Buffet breakfast was nice. We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed for two nights of our stay due to a special event. The bar was open and the same menu was served, but it was very loud and busy. I ordered a steak the first night and it was excellent so husband decided to try it the next night and I repeated the order, however they were full of fat, grizzle, and undercooked, very disappointing.

Close to Glasgow Central Station and Downtown

Pros: Good location for access to the city and from the station. Friendly and helpful staff
Short walk from station through an eclectic area. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room was on 10th floor with good view. Everything in the room was clean and fresh, not luxurious but nevertheless very good. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Easy walk to Princes St. and to the Charles Rennie Mackintosh sites. Would stay at this hotel again.

Pros: Located close to train station. Comfort and clealiness.
Cons: Female at reception provided misinformation about unloading for the disabled and parking. Key card not working 3 days in a row. Meal portions varied.
Location: Great restaurants and shopping. City bus tour.
Not the best! Other problems included great variance in meal portions. Putting money down for sides and then having difficulty charging meals to the room. Great variance in meal courses. Service was very slow.

Nice Facility - Very Near Train Station

My only complaint is that they asked me if I wanted to pay in pounds or dollars with my credit card; which if unsuspecting travelers choose dollars increases their cost 3-5%. Pretty good buffet breakfast.

Close to transportation, restaurants and shopping

Great service, especially as we flew in early morning and although no room available that early, we did not have to wait very long to get settled. They accommodated our early arrival nicely. Great place to stay and we love the friendliness of all the staff.

This hotel served its purpose for location, but wasn't a WOW!

Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Nothing close, Noisy
The hotel was located in a part of town that was not really easy to get to many places. It seemed not to be in the best part of town. There were a couple of fast food restaurants nearby and some local shops, but all in all was not the best pick for our tour.

Great stay

I stayed at Jury's Inn for a couple nights and was very pleased. We had a room overlooking the river Clyde. Very clean, front desk staff was amazing, went above and beyond for our group. The bar and resturant was very nice. There was a couple fights in front of the hotel a couple times, they couldn't help that though. Just don't go out alone at night.

Good for a night in Glasgow

This is a good, clean, modern hotel in downtown Glasgow which is conveniently close to Glasgow Central train station - especially if your luggage has wheels (otherwise it is a nuisance to get your luggage to the platform). Breakfast is a good deal. Front desk staff service is variable, but friendly. Good amenities in the room, and room is quite large.
