An elegant L-shaped hallway has plenty of storage for those with lots of baggage and provides good space between the bedrooms and living area. The master bedroom is at the rear of the building for extra privacy and has an en-suite shower room. There are fitted wardrobes plus a chest of drawers. The window looks onto the internal courtyard with the complex. The second double bedroom is light and airy and has both a free standing wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bedroom view is also into the courtyard.
The living space is light, spacious and comfortable. There is s a dining table for four, two matching leather blue sofas, soundproof windows opening onto Mitchell Street, providing the apartment with great light. There is wireless internet, 50" Digital TV with Freeview, DVD player and Ipod docking station.
The open plan area includes a fully integrated kitchen, with all modern appliances and items you would need for home cooking. The hallway cupboard houses the washer/dryer and has a wall mounted drying rack above.
There are a few on-street parking spaces and some disabled parking spaces, but if you need secure overnight parking there are plenty of multi-storey car parks available within a few minutes walking distance. You won't need a taxi if staying in this apartment. You are on the doorstep of the best shops, bars, restaurants, venues that Glasgow has to offer including The Royal Concert Hall, Gallery of Modern Art, George Square, the Theatre Royal and lost more.
The location couldnât have been more central! Easy access to shops, restaurants, and trains. We booked a flat for the purpose of having some home cooked meals. The kitchen was not stocked with any basic cooking consumables other than random salt and pepper. A large casserole dish would given us more options for cooking. The flat had a great layout. While there was a TV, it did not function. Our stay was 10 days. The cleaning service came on day 6-just in time as we ran out of TP. Perhaps itâs a hot commodity in Scotland, because there was not even Kleenex available. We were rationed with one bath towel, and one hand towel only, but provided clean ones from the cleaners. Weâd love to come back, and if you like a firm mattress, youâll like this place.
