Staff was friendly. Rooms are a bit dated and run down but the bed sheets were clean and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom appeared clean but had a strong mildew smell. Great place to stay if you're on a budget as other places in the area were more expensive. I would stay here again.

First off, I will acknowledge that most of the reviews of the hotels in Golden mention the high cost vs what you pay for, and this was no different. The standards of 2/3 star hotel/motels were over $350 (on a Tuesday!) so I opted for the $255 night at the Rondo. The hotel room was spacious, a bit run down, old beds and noisy AC. It was clean and comfortable though, overall not a bad experience. The room I had was at the front of the building which just had one floor so there was no noise from anyone above, which was nice. There was a fridge and freezer that was a little smelly from the previous occupant's food, but not the end of the world. Overall not a bad experience but extremely expensive for what you get.

Our experience at Rondo Motel was excellent. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well equipped for a pleasant stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always welcoming and willing to assist. A highlight for us was that they allowed a late check-out, which gave us more flexibility and comfort during our trip. The location is ideal: only a 5-minute walk to downtown Golden, making it easy to go out for dinner, stroll around town, or do some shopping without needing the car. The motel also offers great value for money, especially considering the daily cleaning service and the well-maintained facilities. Basic amenities such as a coffee maker, towels, and toiletries were provided and in good condition. The only small suggestion would be to include an iron in the rooms, which would make the stay even more convenient. Overall, this is a highly recommended place to stay if you’re looking for cleanliness, friendly service, and a great location at a fair price. We would definitely return in the future.
