The Sunrises Are Amazing!

This small two storey cottage is nettled on a property that overlooks the ocean and the Three Duck Islands as well as two other islands. If you wake early you’ll catch beautiful sunrises and hear the songbirds all around. Great deck to sit and have your morning coffee and plan your day.
The cottage has a full kitchen including all new dishwasher, good size fridge and apt size range. There’s a full bathroom downstairs with a walk in shower and fresh towels. There’s a table and chairs as well as bbq for outdoor dining complete with hanging lights to enjoy the evenings.
Upstairs you will find a king size bed, mini fridge and coffee maker as well as another half bath. Through the patio doors is an amazing view as well as patio furniture to relax.
I do put some condiments in to get your stay started! Please note this is a quiet area. We live next door and have a nervous puppy so we are requesting no pets please.

Excellent communication from hosts. They really went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Anything we needed they provided and invited us to join them for a bonfire on our first night in town. Learning about the local culture, where to go, what to see and do on this little island property was amazing and very helpful. The cabin is only 3 yrs old, very clean, very well equipped and cozy. Short walk to the ocean and a short drive to stores. The sunrises and tides are impressive here. Sunset viewing is only a 15 min drive away with spectacular views across the Bay of Fundy toward Maine. Having the owners next door was an asset because they were accessible for any needs or advice. It was not a hinderance at all and you wouldn't know if they were home or not because they were quiet and left us alone. A great place to stay and very gracious hosts. Worth coming back to!

Quiet Retreat
Sweet cottage Great kitchen with plenty of kitchenware Nice clean bathrooms with a great shower. Bedroom is beautiful with an extremely comfortable bed and gorgeous deck area . Lovely place to spend time on Grand Manan… Marg and Joe are close next door, they were available if you needed something but left you in peace..highly recommended.

La vue, l'emplacement pour nous était parfait, éloigné de la route principale et à deux pas de la Baie. Le chalet était d'une propreté irréprochable et un peu petit en ce qui concerne le séjour et la cuisine mais deux salles de bain avec tout le nécessaire. Il ne manque rien à notre confort que ce soit en cuisine, salle de bain et nos hôtes sont plein de petites attentions comme chaises de plage, BBQ, etc. etc. Parlant de nos hôtes, Margaret et Joe ont été là au bon moment pour régler un petit problème technique vite résolu. Ce sont des personnes très discrètes mais très appréciées. Ainsi, vue imprenable, lits king très confortable et un joyau de tranquillité ce qui pour nous n'a pas de prix. En juin, et nous le savions déjà, il se pouvait qu'il y ait un peu de brouillard et de pluie, cela n'a pas fait exception mais nous avons visité l'Ile par tous les temps et fait de la randonnée malgré tout pour découvrir des paysages de toute beauté. Encore merci à Margaret et Joe pour les petits plus!
