Room was fine but the mattress was horrible. I’ve stayed at this hotel over the past seven years when I travel to Hamilton and this was the worst night at this location. That mattress should be thrown out. By the time I got myself settled and into bed it was after 1:30 AM and it was not an appropriate time to request a room change. I did bring it up to the person at the front desk when I was checking out and they were surprised, but at the same time didn’t even care enough to offer some sort of compensation. A little bit apathetic to be honest. I also was very surprised to see a security guard, walking around the lobby and sitting in the front lobby. If something‘s going on, it’s not a good sign. I will reconsider booking this hotel for future trips.

Visitors Inn is an excellent hotel. I stay there about 5 times a year when visiting friends in Hamilton. The rooms are big, clean and cheerful. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

The room was great, and the overall hotel was very clean. The kids enjoyed the pool. The outside surrounding area was a little noisy. The service at the desk, kitchen, and cleaning staff were very prompt, friendly, and accommodating.

The hotel was conveniently located near the hiway but because of that it was a bit noisy with street traffic. Our first room has an odor but the staff moved us to another room with no issues. The second room was clean annd bright with no odor and looked like there had been some recent renovations in the bathroom to upgrade the shower. Beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a microwave and mini fridge in the room. We don’t use the pool but it looked nice and often had people in it. Vending machine prices were reasonable. Would stay here again.

The staff made a couple of accommodations for us (early check in and an extra person) with professionalism and positivity. The room was quiet despite the traffic noise outside. The beds were comfortable, the blackout curtains worked! The bathrooms were clean and well stocked (except the body wash, but hey...) Would definitely stay at this property again.

I picked Visitors Inn for the location near the highway and was happily surprised by how nice a place it was. The staff were very friendly especially the restaurant staff who took care of me at the end of the day. I was on the road by 6:30 so I missed breakfast.

We have stayed here several times for a week or so. With a vehicle it has easy access to Main and King Street as well as E/W 403. This means a short ride to the airport and bypassing Hamilton. 407 is not far. Gobus stop from Toronto is a few blocks away, as is a groceries and Locke st restaurants.
