Check-in was very frustrating. Less than an hour before check in we still had no check in info. They did not respond on the app, I had to contact vrbo to get a phone number and track down the property manager. She was rude & the call was not a great start to our trip. On the listing it said it had a washer/dryer onsite, it turns out it is outside/downstairs and shared between several units (they since changed it in the listing). The unit was sticky & dirty, I killed several bugs within the first couple of minutes there, there was long dark hairs in the bathroom, and the rugs looked like they've never been cleaned. There is very little privacy and we had to move furniture to try and keep the curtains closed so that other units were not looking in where we would be sleeping (the shutters are fixed open and cannot close, blowing the curtains open). The blinds to the bathroom are broken & people can see right into it. We did not feel safe there & decided not to stay. The construction going on, is a big issue, we were not made aware that the parking lot was being torn up, so parking was not close. I will say, the view was beautiful from this unit, but absolutely everything else was absolutely unacceptable. VRBO was also awful to deal with, this was our first time having an issue after years of using them worldwide, now that we know how awful their customer service is when issues arise, we do not recommend using them.
