Staff is helpful but not very friendly. Kurig in all rooms and room service daily, although while staying there they sent out a notice saying room service will be limited now to every 3 days instead of daily. Room service ladies were very friendly. Rooms are semi clean, dirty walls and dripping faucet in the bathroom. Kitchenette was very nice to have. The area is very loud making it hard to sleep at night.

Check time is posted online. Told to you when checking in. Also it’s printed on key card envelope. My suggestion is the front desk needs to stop calling people‘s rooms at 11:25 especially if the guest has already stated they’ll be checking out at 11:30 AM. This behavior is not only rude, but it also causes the gas to leave behind property in the room due to feeling rushed, which has happened to me on the last three visits to this hotel.

We only stayed 4 nights and after the 1st night the AC stopped working and then the bathroom wall was literally falling apart the paint peeled and the Sheetrock was coming off, we got switched rooms and then the next room the AC was leaking and the floor was flooded and we had to have buckets to catch the water. Wouldn’t recommend this place. It was my 40th birthday and my families 1st time in Hawaii and was so disappointed in the quality with how much we paid and the pictures they have on the page are very deceiving

The smell of the libby was overbearing with some sort of air freshener. Our shower had no caddy or shelf in the shower to hold our bath items. We actually bought in from Target. There were screws sticking out from the floor, the floor pan was peeling up, no light in the shower, and the hot water took forever to get hot. Almost all of my showers were with lukewarm water. Staff at check in was not friendly and welcoming. Oh, and the valet was ridiculous. One time we were made to walk down a ramp with our bags in hand instead of allowing us to load the car from the top.

The staff here were extremely friendly, helpful, and amazing. I was surprised at the extra expense for parking, but to be honest, after the phenomenal treatment from the staff towards my family, I plan to stay here again in the future. We had a 12 day trip and stayed in this hotel the entire time. I enjoyed every single second of our trip, and it largely had to do with the phenomenal service at the hotel. - Thank you Ohia. Until we meet again.

This property was not at all the way it was described on your website we asked for handicapped accessible. It was not. My Husband nearly fell out of the wheelchair, trying to get him up the steep ramp once we got to the room he could not even get into the shower the room was so filthy. They had so much carpet fresh Poured on it. I instantly got a migraine. This was definitely not a safe hotel.

I didn’t like that it was carpet in the room. The balcony door couldn’t be opened because the bed was so close to it. There was no microwave in the room (I requested for one) there was a stove but no pots or pans provided. Fridge was cold and good. They had basic cable on the tv so that was great bathroom wasn’t good it felt like I was entrapped honestly. I liked that they provided samples - shampoo, body wash, bar soap and lotion and fresh towels everyday. Room did not smell bad but I did get sick being in there. Overall it was a budget friendly hotel for the area and I was thankful to have a private room and bathroom. I Would half recommend and half not recommend to a friend. If you’re not too picky and just need a place to rest your head then yeah but if you’re looking for more I would urge you to go somewhere else

I recently booked Ohia Waikiki Suites for a group of 4 of us! It was our first time in Hawaii and it was a pleasant experience to say the least. For the price you cannot get better, location, amongst other things like a bag of snacks for breakfast, a pool and more! It definitely isn’t a “luxury” hotel, but you get what you pay for. The rooms were clean, staff were so incredibly kind & accommodating. If you’re looking for something affordable and near everything this is the best bang for your buck!
