Breakfast was very good. Good selection of fruits and muffins/rolls. Within walking distance to beach,shopping, dining. Negatives are no pool,parking is a little expensive, but valet service was very good.

Overall, we had a very positive experience at this hotel. The location couldn’t be better – just a short 3-minute walk to the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants right around the corner. The staff were warm and welcoming, always responding to our questions in a calm and professional manner. Breakfast was enjoyable, offering a good variety: boiled eggs or omelets, bacon or sausages, a nice selection of pastries and breads, and a fresh assortment of fruit such as watermelon, pineapple, papaya, and melon. We also appreciated the complimentary beach gear – although the chairs were a little worn, it was still very convenient to have them available. Our deluxe ocean-view room was pleasant, though a bit compact. The furniture showed some age, but the bathroom was in excellent condition with no signs of mold. The linens and towels were fresh and clean, while the carpet could have been a little less dusty. Overall, the hotel offers great value with its prime location, friendly staff, and thoughtful amenities.

The staff is great! The breakfast was also nice to have. The hotel provided towels and accessories for beach days which was very nice. The rooms are just a bit dated and very small. The restrooms in particular are super small, like the restrooms in a stater room on a cruise ship. A bit let down by the rooms but overall a pleasant experience.

Great Stay

The Hotel Vive Waikiki was the perfect stay for our babymoon vacation. It's truly located smack dab in the middle of the action of Waikiki. From the pineapple juice greeting, to the very friendly staff at both the front desk and valet area, the Vive had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed their continental breakfast service and their included beach supplies. We stayed in a queen room with ocean view, and while the restroom was on the smaller size it was the perfect size for my husband and I, especially since we stayed out most of the day. We would highly consider staying here again in the future!

Initially, we were disappointed that the bathroom was much smaller and only one sink and that the building was much older than expected. But the friendly staff and all the “free lemon water, availability of ice and breakfast” made up for the small bathroom size. When we travel, we usually had to go to a grocery store to pick up a large jug of water and fruits but Vive Hotel had all of this right beside the lobby so we didn’t need to do that. We really appreciated the free towels and beach bags that is for “borrow” for the day. Seems like Vive really thought about the customer experience. We would stay there again.

Amazing hotel 4 min to Waikiki beach

All was amazing morning breakfast not lots of hot food so we mostly had breakfast outside of the hotel but coffee was always available umbrellas chairs body boards and even cooler bags! Don't hesitate to stay here!

The staff at Vive Hotel Waikīkī are very kind. The facility is very clean and conveniently located near the main beach, restaurants, shopping district, and bars. Highly recommended staying here again in the future!
