We loved our recent stay at Roe Parker House. It was the perfect location for a quick walk to downtown Hood River or drive to local adventures. RPH’s host was very attentive, with clear and easy instructions. The home is light, bright, and comfortable, along with having views of the Columbia River. We also loved the artistic vibe.

Awesome location for access to downtown, the river, and the heights. And a wonderful view of the river and gorge. The host was great at communicating and being available. Beds were really comfy and kitchen was well equipped. A great place to stay!!

Since we didn’t cook so I can’t attest to the kitchen supplies. I can say that it was so very convenient to walk everywhere…downtown, riverfront, and even a few nearby trails. Great location! Though if you are not comfortable with stairs, this is NOT the place for you. I appreciated clear check-in and check out information. I would stay here again…

Beautiful house perfect locstione

Great communication. The house is cozy, clean with beautiful views and a short walk down the stairs to downtown. Very easy check in. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen.

Perfect location

We were in Hood River for a wedding and the location of this house was perfect. It's next to a staircase that takes you right downtown. The home is cute and clean- comfy beds, and a nice patio area looking out to a glimpse of hood River and kite surfers.

Property was great and walking distance to everything in town. The only thing I would mention is the bedroom ceiling fan was not working and it got a little stuffy/warm at night while sleeping. Other than that, everything was exactly as described and would stay here again.

Clean, Convenient, well maintained, nice views..... but where do you sit if your a full size adult (6 foot, 195 lbs) ? The couch was so worn out it had zero support. Use the pillows? Sure that'll be comfortable for about 3 minutes. Oh, let's try the chairs... great of your in third grade or petite - it's like the whole place was furnished from IKEA... which is awesome if your in college. Oh, did I mention there's only one parking spot and you'll need to compete with the locals who use the street parking daily for work. It's not that it was a bad place, but the lack of comfortable furniture was not conducive to either sitting down over coffee or chatting over dinner. It's my responsibility as the pictures clearly show the chairs available.... I just assumed that they were designed for comfort not to look "Hip and Trendy". They did have a great dishwasher and clothes washer / dryer. Also the coffee beans and grinder was a really nice touch. With more comfortable furniture this place would be a Double A Plus. Next time I rent I'll know what to look for, thank you for the education.

There were a few functionality issues with things like remotes to lights in the bedrooms, shower operations and access that made things less convenient than they could have been. Although a representative reached out, when we voiced issues, there was no resolution or offer of instructions. With amenities that aren't user- friendly, more detailed instructions or verification that things like remotes work ahead of time is critical.

Amazing view from the garden. Charming place. Very convenient to everything - a short walk down the hill to restaurants and shopping and 20-minute drive to beautiful waterfalls and hikes! Great customer service - the entry code did not work when we arrived, but a quick call remedied that issue. Washer and dryer worked great and the kitchen was cute and convenient. The only recommendations I have is to get a new coffee maker (or deep clean the existing one). Thanks for a great stay!

We’ve stayed at a number of short term rental places in Hood River and this was the best one of all. The location is superb, just a short walk up the hill from downtown. It’s very quiet and clean, and well furnished. The host was extremely responsive and reached out several times to be sure everything was ok. We had no problem with the stairs outside but guests should be aware of them.

Girls Weekend

Super cute place and plenty of room for the 3 of us with a great location. The only downfall was whoever lives upstairs has young kids who run around VERY loudly pretty early in the morning. Their footsteps were loud/heavy enough that they rattled the light fixtures. So if you're looking for somewhere to sleep in late, this might not be the place. But otherwise it was very clean and was a great price.
