The main issue we had was the loud music coming from the neighboring night club. The DJ played until 2:00 AM so we got very little sleep. I would recommend staying someplace else unless you are not planning to head in early.

front desk staff not available at checkin. Turns out they were busy in the back watching tiktok rather than in the front. During checkout had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up to check us out and settle account. I walked around looking for staff, no-one was around. Room needed TLC

The front desk staff were very accommodating. The rooms were not well kept. Loud noise from train but luckily staff moved us to a higher floor. However being Marriott members, we wish they gave us preferred rooms upon arrival. Floors were dirty, bedsheets stained and garbage remnants from the last occupant. Again the hotel staff switched our rooms to a higher floor to avoid the sound from street but even that room had pieces from the floor missing and dirty walls. We ended up switching to another Marriott for the next two nights.

After dealing with the bottle throwing crackheads outside,we were serenaded to sleep by the loud "music" from the bar close by. We would not have picked this hotel but the wedding venue was close by so we put up with the irritations. Some of the other guests who were staying the whole weekend switched to other hotels. Parking is located on the next block so if you have many bags you are in for more inconveniences. You have been warned.

Good things: Staff was wonderful. Kind, attentive and efficient. The king size bed was wonderful; very comfortable! The A/C was the quietest I have ever had. There were blackout shades on both windows! The stand up shower had good water pressure and the water was hot. Ok things: The rooms are small, but appointed w/ the necessities. My room was clean and had all i needed. The bathroom had a nightlight that was a rather bright (LED) and shown directly on the left side of the bed. Had to close the bathroom door which may not be the best for some guests. There was no place/stand to put your luggage on; so bed or floor. The bathroom doesn't have much counter space. The not great: The windows are older and the area has a lot of clubs, lots of music can be heard until late. (bring ear plugs and its all good) Lastly, I had a room w/ an adjoining door to another room. I could hear EVERYthing, the normal voice convos, TV, bathroom visits, other. (again ear plugs) Also, since there was no bottom door seal, any odor (like smoke) created on that side of door permeated my room. To each their own but this could be dangerous/cause problems for others.
