The property was very nice and cozy. We slept well & the unit had clearly been renovated with countless modern upgrades. The unit was clean and contained everything needed for a great stay. The only negatives were the surrounding neighborhood. A huge train yard near the property has trains running all night, but I barely noticed it when I was asleep. This is also a very rough neighborhood I believe is considered the 3rd Ward of Houston, but appears to be undergoing some gentrification. There are dilapidated houses surrounding the property. My wife saw a large rat in next door neighbor's yard & it freaked her out. There are also new builds & newly renovated houses sprinkled throughout the neighborhood. The parking was beneath the unit & it was tighter than a parking garage. I could only exit the parking by driving in reverse through the complex back to the road. These were all minor inconveniences and our stay was mostly enjoyable.
