Wonderful stay with the family. Room was clean and spacious with amazing hospitality with the friendly staff. Pool area was busy with older kids but had ample space for my toddler to enjoy as well.

The biggest issue we had was our room smelled like chlorine real bad. We were on the 2nd floor looking down on the indoor pool. During the night we both woke up with bad headaches which continued throughout the next day. We believe it was caused from the chlorine smell.

Check in was quick. Hotel is under renovations and you can tell. Couldn't go in front doors at first and they had them opened again on Monday morning and there was a high pitched noise in the lobby area. The door that was available to go in the handle was broken so had to be careful going through it. We checked in on a Saturday, there was a lot of families there for tournaments, so when we went to the pool/hot tub area it was very noisy, children running all over the place, hot tub was overly full and the water was green, signs say no alcohol in pool area, yet there were several males standing around the pool area drinking alcohol. Went and informed front desk and nothing was done about it? The pool area is in like a greenhouse and has lots of plants in it, there is this one area that you have to be careful walking over as it rises and several people were finding it awkward to walk over even I tripped over it. The pool area was not kept clean the whole 2 days we stayed there and had to go ask for more towels, the pool area had used towels laying all over the chairs and floors, people were eating in the pool area also? The parking lot is used as a dumping ground for guests that stay there, garbage strewn all over, someone filled up a reusable grocery bag with garbage and left it there, we kept noticing it so one of my girls went and looked and it was garbage, we put it in the garbage can that is outside the hotel? Note to self not to stay on a weekend.

Subpar and disappointed all around.

Was really disappointed that i wasted my $ and free time here. Have stayed before and it was great, so after being away to work for some time, wanted to treat my Girlfriend to a night away from the kids. Knew nothing about the reno’s until after i booked, and was non refundable. Was the first time ive been to a hotel where they close pool and hottub early @930. Aa most places are open to 11 with no minors after 10. Figured we would make due, but the place was over run with kids hockey teams on a war path, with seemingly no adult supervision in sight, or they could just care less. Staff wandered by, but made no attempt to settle them down. Other guests kept leaving. Kids running up and down hallways wasnt awesome either. We figured we would try around 900pm as they would likely be going to bed, but pool and hottub were closed at 900 not even 930 as stated. They were working on the hot tub when we tried again at 9am. Again, not a normal time at hotel for it to open. Tub was overflowing, then partially drained with people in it, with no warning and the jets barely did a thing. Smelt like a container of bleach had just been dumped into it. Bathroom lights flickered intermitantly and felt like i was in a horror movie, as well the toilet paper mount was hanging loose by screws, amongst other random little sub par things. Not what i have come to expect from Coast hotels in the past. Unlikely to return Service at Restaurant was mediocre at best as well.

Very dissatisfied with cost vs value was put into dog friendly floor, sounded like a kennel most the night, smelked bad, asked to be moved. Was able to move the 2nd night " rented suite" both night's. Shower head was terrible get wet faster standing in rain. Ive been to this hotel many times prior and was satisfied, but this was not ok, construction going on in lobby, had to enter through a side door with broken handle, i would exoect more for 250/ per night, wont be returning..ever!

Very noisy with the highway right next to the hotel and the windows do not block out the noise. Beds are super uncomfortable and have a noisy plastic cover that makes noise every time you move. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Pool is OK.

Renovations around the lobby and pool area are going on, not to much of a bother. Our room is showing wear as the shower head moved back and forth when I went to adjust it water damage around pipe on wall and above in the ceiling is very noticeable. The bathroom door had paint peeling away from bottom entire width, most likely from years of moping and lack of maintenance.

We booked a one night stay as a little staycation for the Vday weekend. Little did we know there was four children’s hockey teams staying there at the same time. Even at 9 PM the pools had about 40 screaming children, including 16 crammed into the hot tub with us that would normally comfortably fit about 8. We retreated to the sauna for some peace and quiet, only to be joined by another 9 kids about 2 minutes later. The property itself was extremely dated. The room stunk like cigarettes, and nearly all of the buttons on the remote control for the TV did not work. We were in desperate need of water and asked front desk to buy some, to which they told us they are located in the vending machines. The large property has two vending machines, one in each wing ( we find this out later ). We go to the one on our side of the property only to find it unplugged, as we are checking every floor we finally come across a worker and ask where another one is. She advises the other wing on the second floor. We make the trek across the property and find the other machine, tap to purchase our bottle of water, only to find they are completely sold out and our only option is Gatorade. While we are making our purchase, we are again greeted by about 20 young girls playing hide and seek in the hallway and staircases. This definitely was not the relaxing night away we were expecting. Next time we will be staying at a higher end newer hotel so we do not waste our money on such a bad experience.
